Powered by GoogleI have rarely received such a warm welcome from my own family, much less a dentist’s office! The staff is amazing, and Dr.Oakes explained everything throughly while also answering any questions I had. It was only my first visit, but they leave an amazing first impression.
Dr. Oakes and his staff are exceptional! He is one of the few board-certified prosthodontists in the MD/VA/PA area and his experience is unmatched. During my initial consult, he and his staff spent more than an hour attending to me and listening to my concerns about my smile. I couldn’t ask for more from a doctor!
Hands down the best dental experience i have ever had. The office and staff we very welcoming from the moment I walked into the office. I'll recommend there services to any and everyone.
Terrible customer service. If I could give zero stars, I would. I have been a customer of theirs since I was in middle school and mostly have had no issues. Occasional billing mistake or incorrect insurance application, but nothing that made me want to leave until now. I had an appointment for a routine cleaning in February. After waiting 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment time, I was brought to the front desk to review the charges. I was told that I would pay up front and insurance would reimburse me later. I was also told at this time that the Dr. I see was not there. I expressed my hesitancy to pay the charges and frustration of not being told prior that my Dr was not there, and wanted to call my mom to verify that this was correct, but felt pressured into paying anyways. After paying, I sat back down for another 30 minutes and called my mom, who told me that was not how our insurance worked and that it must have been a mistake. I walked back to the desk, now having waited an hour after my appointment time, and asked if there was any way I could get a refund as I would not like to proceed with service at that time. I was told by the front desk staff that I needed to speak to the office manager so I waited for another 20 minutes. Once the office manager was available, she told me they were ready to take me back (so the communication that I wanted to leave was never done), I expressed the same concern to her and asked if I could get a refund and leave. She told me that would not be a problem and that I would be getting a refund check in the mail. 2 weeks after that appointment I called in to ask about the refund check, as I had not gotten it yet. I was told that I needed to speak to the billing department. I called several times throughout the week and was told I would be getting a call, until one day I was told that they were out and I wouldn't be hearing from her until the week after. Now waiting 3 weeks, I finally received a call from the billing department who told me that the amount I paid at my visit was put towards an open balance (of several hundred dollars) from back in 2022. I was never told about this open balance, never received a bill, and was never made aware it even existed even through all of the appointments from 2022 leading up to February of 2025. I told her that was not correct and that I would like my refund check sent. She told me she needed to look into it and after another day of waiting, came to the conclusion that the check would be sent. Now, 6 months later, I reach back out as I STILL have not received my check. I called on Wednesday and the front office told me that billing would call me Thursday. I called midday Thursday to remind them that I was awaiting a call, and was told by the office manager that I would be getting it by end of day. I did not receive a call. I called Friday to let them know I did not receive my call, and was assured that I would be hearing from them that day and that the office manager herself would call me midday Friday to check in with me to see if I heard from their billing department. I did not get a call from the manager, nor did I get a call from billing. I still have not received my refund for services that I didn't even get, and am frustrated that my money was put towards a bill from 3 years ago that I was never told existed until now. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR SERVICE! They will scam you and take your money.
The office staff was warm and welcoming. The Hygienist and Dentist were great! I had to replace two filings and they were able to fit that in with my 6 month cleaning. They answered any questions I had as well.
