Patient Reviews
Powered by GoogleThis place is amazing. Best dental service I have ever experienced. The staff is top notch! Very friendly and helpful. They move you through the screening process very quickly.
I had a great experience at DCG. I came in as a patient who was in a lot of pain, and from the moment I arrived I felt cared for and supported. Dr. Hewett was extremely attentive, compassionate, and took the time to listen and explain everything clearly. The customer service from the front desk, especially Carla, was truly top tier she was kind, professional, and very reassuring. I appreciate GPR clinic
My family and I have been coming to the Pediatrics, Orthodontics, and Family Denistry clinics in this incredible building since it was built (for the last 10+ years), as my family member is employed by Augusta University for the last 25 years. I cannot thank enough everyone that made and makes my experience here outstanding!
I went to the dental college for years having extensive work done, and needed 6 crowns for my top front six teeth. Are we supposed to have a 1/2" overbite, which I did NOT have prior to the work being done? Aren't your teeth supposed to be INSIDE your lips? I now whistle every time I carry on a conversation. The crowns are actually angled FORWARD, and the canines are so thick you can't even see the rest of my teeth. The student (Tanner) who put in the canines said I was one of his last patients to wrap up so he could graduate, and the next student would correct that problem. The next student, Soon, told me he couldn't do anything to fix it because a previous student had already been signed off for the work. He said we could work on that after we got the rest of the crowns in place. It went downhill from there. When it came time for the crowns, I asked Soon to pull out the imprint I had provided them from 2013. I had given it to Tanner, who assured me he gave it to Soon. Soon showed it to me at our first appointment. When it came time for the crowns, Soon stated he didn't have it, and that Tanner hadn't given it to him. Now I've just lost the only reference they had for the correct angle for my top teeth. Once the crowns were in place, the faculty member, or whoever they are, stated I have a huge overbite when he was checking the work. Soon told me to line my teeth up so they touched. So I did, and this is the result. I look like I only have 6 teeth in my mouth and the crowns hang out in front of my lip when I smile! I'm constantly waking up with my lower lip wedged in between my teeth, I now have to keep my tongue between my teeth so I don't push my jaw forward to compensate, and can't even eat things like chicken wings, corn on the cobb, or ribs because I can't bite them. . Now I'm getting migraines because my bite is out of alignment, and the resident dentist I saw said that I will end up with TMJ if I don't get it fixed. The school refused to correct the problem because the work is technically "accurate", and stated I'd need to pay for the work again if I wanted to get the issue fixed. Unfortunately, I don't have another $6,000 to spend on replacing these crowns. If the college is so hell-bent on making money, when I can finally afford to fix this humongous problem, the money will NOT be spent at this school. They haven't even bothered to reply to negative reviews for months.
KeKe and Carla are amazing! They have been more than helpful and caring to the issues I was having. If I could leave a 10 star would be better!!! Thank you ladies for all that your do! Angela
