I googled places that were open on the weekends for dental care. And finally got to speak to an answering service. I have a tooth that has absessed and due to financial reasons I had to borrow money in order to pay for said treatment. I got some penicillin and took that. But I have had this tooth issue for almost a month. And I am unable to miss work because I need every single cent I get for my living expenses. I have a high position but low pay. Working on getting a better job. But my concern was that even though Im on penicillin the pulp and bacteria can go into my jaw and blood stream including my brain. I was asked if I wanted to see a virtual doctor for $69. something. But thought? How is that going to solve my physical contact issue. I said no. And asked another question. She answered and I was in the process of asking another question which was who can help me on a Saturday since I have the money now to take care of this? And she hung up on me. I tried to call back but this time it went to voice mail which is full. I feel like this has been an emergency for a while. But I just didn't have the money or couldn't go even to Heal The City because I have to work. If I am sick it puts me behind. So, I know the severity of my situation and am trying to make the best decisions for the big picture. I have several things I could sell. But waiting on buyers is another thing. All I wanted was an answer to a question. And its really frustrating when someone is supposed to represent a company that provides services and on line it says it closes at 8pm. But not specific enough to say its only virtual. I have been worried about this for a while and nothing is free. Everything has a cost. Even our actions. Including my own for putting work and fear of loosing my home and vehicle and groceries to eat and working instead of breaking myself for my tooth. Knowing it's serious. I am woman enough to own that. However mid question I get hung up on a woman who is probably in her pajamas eating snacks and being short with people who have real concerns and their own reality of issues. That was my most important question after that. And I am disappointed at the fact that there was no curtiocy of exiting the conversation. This Texas not New York. And people here are held at a higher standard of communication. I don't know why she decided to hang up on me mid question and that's fine. And her own personal integrity. If she cares or not. But as a communicator its your responsibility to actively listen and respond. Not be dismissive. There's a big difference between dismissive and detachment. Care Center... represent that care at least in your communication skills. It's the least a person can do. I didn't catch her name. I would had never got the chance. I guess she has a 40 second time limit to be on calls. I don't know. And shouldn't assume. And apologize if I did before as well. I am just concerned for my health upon doing more research about an absessed tooth even on penicillin. Calmy and respectfully just asking a question. I just hope I have done everything I could to help myself all things considered. I just recently had to miss work for gallbladder surgery. And it put a strain on my pocket. So soon I will get a better paying job or just learn how to code with Python to keep up with these times of AI.
