My daughter had an aggressive ossifying tumor in her mandible and had a mandibulectomy with free-flap reconstruction performed-incorrectly. After multiple hospitalizations it was discovered the graft had necrosis and the metal plate was protruding through the soft tissue in her mouth. We then saw over a dozen different physicians in search of treatment. My daughter had endured numerous failed surgeries; she was passed from one specialist to another-each making the condition worse than the last. “Complicated” and “untreatable” was literally stamped on her discharge papers by each doctor we saw and ultimately, I felt utterly “hopeless”. My daughter had been left disfigured, emotionally traumatized, and physically deviated, she had no bone in half her mandible and no teeth. We had been told by everyone that nothing more could be done. And then we met Dr. Broumand. From the very first moment, she was treated not as a case, but as a person. His compassion, his patience, and willingness to truly listen restored something we had lost: hope. Where others saw a problem too difficult to fix, Dr. Broumand saw a path forward. He not only acknowledged the pain and trauma she had endured, but approached the treatment with the kind of empathy and care exceedingly rare in medicine. It is his skill that truly sets him apart. With unmatched surgical expertise, he meticulously reversed the damage that had been done. Through a series of complex surgeries, he reconstructed what others said was beyond repair. He accomplished what others would not attempt. Today, when she looks in the mirror, she doesn’t see scars of failure, but the results of his brilliance. No words grand enough can express the depth of my gratitude. But I write this in hopes that others-especially those who have been told “there’s nothing more we can do”-will know that hope still exists, and it wears a white coat with Dr. Broumand’s name on it.

Excellent experience from start to finish! The front desk staff was very helpful with appointments and also sorting out our insurance needs. They went above and beyond assisting with phone calls. The doctor was very professional and took great care of my son. My son shared how the doctor asked him what his favorite music was and then he played it during his procedure. The post opp care was top notch. Staff was available by text message on the weekends and were attentive to our questions. We were given undivided attention and care. We would highly recommend this doctor office! Thank you!!
