Only had a preparatory meeting with Dr. McCann for a later date to remove a tooth and to put in a bone graft and anchor. He was very thorough. I've had him do some similar dental work years ago. That's why I came back to him

I felt 100% in great hands when getting my tooth extracted and starting the implant journey. Dr. McCann was so gentle during extraction, communicating with me the whole time to see how I was doing, very professional and took time to answer all of my questions. I would absolutely send all family and friends to this clinic. I can’t thank this team enough!

I am afraid of dental offices. Downtown Periodontics &Implants Dentrsy was so patient with me and my nerves. The Doctor listened to my fear. The Dental Hygienic was wonderful and explained everything that was going to take place with the scaling process. The receptionists at the beginning lets you know that this will be the best experience. Try it for yourself.

I had a very uncomfortable and frustrating experience at this office. I was seated in an old, extremely uncomfortable dental chair for approximately an hour and a half. Staff did check in with me during that time, but they did not provide an ETA or meaningful updates about when I would be seen. I repeatedly explained that the chair was causing significant physical pain due to a health issue. The chair was repositioned once, but it did not resolve the pain, and despite me continuing to say that I was uncomfortable, no additional comfort measures or accommodations were offered. I will be in pain for days after this and it was for nothing because he never came in. After the prolonged wait, instead of addressing the situation, I was asked whether I wanted to leave and reschedule (seemed encouraged to go that route). That felt dismissive given how long I had already been waiting and how clearly I had communicated my discomfort. Checking in without providing timelines or adequate comfort care is not sufficient. Patients deserve clear communication and reasonable efforts to reduce physical distress.

Dr McCann is a pro. Thorough, provides great education, written and verbal consent. I was pretty nervous for this surgery and I was in and out; now I am healing well.
