At Dr. Pinney's I experience the evolution from dentistry to a holistic approach to whole body health. I value the constant education I receive there, alongside the most sophisticated methods available to care for my teeth effectively and gently. All the practitioners are top-notch professionals who work as a team. Among many other tips, while in the chair I have learned specifics about how oral health and my overall health - cardiac, mental, etc...are part of one overall system and how improvements in oral health improve and extend one's healthspan and possibly lifespan. I feel so lucky to have such a superb practice right here in Juneau.
Great dentist office. I especially appreciate the time my hygienist (Jessica) takes in educating me about what's going on in my mouth, the things to be mindful of and the other things that are less of a concern. It really gives me a holistic view of that part of my body. All of the staff are competent and very friendly.
This post is a little late, but I wanted to praise Dr. Pinney and his whole Staff. I was in Juneau on vacation on a cruise and while in town, I slipped and fell and smashed my teeth back in the back of my mouth. I called Dr. Pinneys office and they were able to squeeze me in, even tho I wasn’t a patient. They helped me Tremendously as I still had a whole week left of the cruise and would’ve had to probably go home if I didn’t get some work done. They put my teeth back in place, put a wire on them to keep them there, gave me some medication and Just were absolutely wonderful. I still have the wire on my teeth as I am continuing treatment here at home. If I didn’t have their help, I don’t know what I would have done thank you thank you thank you to everyone at this office, I would highly recommend them to anybody
I feel that I receive better treatment from Drs Pinney and West than I have from any other dentist in Juneau over 40 years here or anywhere else. I see hygienist Ruthanna four times a year. I find her care thoroughly professional, caring and well explained. Were it not for her caring professional approach her recommendations would be easily ignored by this 75 years old. Thank you.
