Dr Eddie is a 5 star dental surgeon. It is his office staff- particularly the insurance billing that is very disappointing. We were told they would reach out to our insurance 1 month prior to surgery for an estimate. They called the day before and expected payment after they did not follow through on getting an estimate from our insurances- (we have medical and 2 dental for coverage). The morning or surgery for wisdom teeth they were scrambling on calling insurance companies only after I said I would not pay the hundreds of dollars they requested until they held up their end of the deal and did the estimate. - they told me my insurance would not cover xyz. I made a deposit- surgery went great. Then it took over 6 months for them to file to my insurance. Which the insurance they told me denied coverage paid it all except a small amount, and my secondary also paid it all- so they doubled billed both insurances. I have little faith in their insurance department staff to catch this. I also have little confidence in ever seeing my deposit back. They did not hesitate to send invoices out though for bogus amounts before insurance was even fully applied nearly 10 months post surgery. I have never seen such a poorly managed insurance department. Bottom line- Great Surgeon- poor billing/insurance department.
Our experience at this office was not good at all. The Doctor never succeeded in giving me a legitimate referral to another oral surgeons office, (like he promised me he would) after cancelling my sons wisdom teeth extraction on the day of surgery. It’s been one month and still nothing. I’ve never encountered anything like this before. Unbelievable, really.
Dr, Brotkowski and his staff were extremely friendly and accommodating.had a semi=major procedure done and he was gentle, professional and thorough. In the 4 visits I had I was not kept waiting either in the waiting room or exam room. Very efficient. I would definitely choose Dr. Brotkowski again if I need an oral surgeon.
Overall a great experience given the situation. Dr. Brotkowski is an excellent oral surgeon. He called after the procedure to make sure everything was going as planned. I even received another follow up call the day after. I was just an amazement how they went above and beyond. From start to finish everything was laid out and clear. Thank you for the amazing work you do! A+++
It's never fun to have dental work done. All the staff and Dr. Eddie made it so much easier. Respectful, professional and kind. I felt at ease and confident in my care. I had an extraction and now beginning the implant process. Grateful for such quality care.
