I had a very disappointing and frankly appalling experience with Dr. gibbons at this office( though staff is very friendly). After experiencing complications with an extraction done by another provider, I came to Dr. gibbons for a cleaning and to discuss the issues I was having. Instead of listening to my concerns, he was condescending and dismissive, suggesting that the problem was unlikely related to the extraction and implying other causes without taking my input seriously or offering any real long term solutions. When I asked for my dental records — which I have a legal right to under HIPAA — Dr. gibbons refused to give them to me directly, stating he would only send them to the oral surgeon. This is completely unacceptable and a violation of my rights as a patient. No one should have to invoke federal law just to obtain their own medical records. To add insult to injury, Dr. gibbons told me I had cavities and even issued a treatment plan for them and estimation. Yet when I reviewed my records, there was no mention of cavities at all. This kind of inconsistency is deeply concerning. After all this, I did go back to the oral surgeon, who confirmed that the probable cause of my issues was indeed related to compromised healing from the extraction, exactly what I had suggested and Dr. gibbons had dismissed. In short, I felt patronized, unheard, and forced to fight for my own rights as a patient. I cannot recommend this office to anyone who values respect, honesty, and proper patient care
Had some work done and was not finished. I was told a follow up appointment would not be scheduled at this time and wait for a call back to schedule. Over a month later no call or follow up to finish the work. I called two days ago and still have not been called back. I guess I will need to call another dentist to fix my tooth. The worst part is the ridiculous money I have spent so far with zero results.
After having a major illness that destroyed my teeth then dealing with money hungry dentists, not worth the $, shying me away after my great DMD retired several yrs ago, I am so grateful to have found Dr Gibbons! He is well versed and ready to take on the most complexed issues to get your life back! He has the best attitude & bench side manner, along with a super team in their office! I’m thankful!
I have been wearing an upper partial for over 60 years. In 2 visits Dr. Gibbons created a new partial that is not only comfortable but fits perfectly and looks fantastic (even my wife loved it). I have never had a partial feel and look so good. He is the best Prosthodontic dentist I have ever had.
Ive been a patient with Dr Gibbons for years. The service is always above and beyond. That goes from all the staff starting at the desk all the way to the back always professional and kind send text reminders to make sure your on top of your scheduled appoiment. Whatever the case may be from a cleaning, filling or a tooth extraction the work is always completed at a very high level. Any questions or concerns Dr Gibbons and team make sure to answer them very throughly. I would give him and his team 5 stars!
