He did an excellent job on my wisdom + 3 regular teeth removal. Was very nice and explained the procedure well beforehand. Highly recommend for dental needs
My son just had four impacted wisdom teeth removed and Dr. Ford and his team were awesome! Dr. Ford took his time to thoroughly go over X-rays and expertly explained why the surgery was necessary. The surgery only took 20 minutes and shortly thereafter we were out of recovery and on our way home! His staff meticulously explained the aftercare instructions and were kind and courteous 100% of the time. I'd highly recommend Dr. Ford if you need wisdom teeth removed.
My wife had her wisdom teeth out on Thursday, the surgery itself went okay, one of my main complaints is that the receptionist Sherry would not acknowledge us as spouses, repetitively but then, my spouse later was woken up too soon from anesthesia in the operating room (We assume because the nurse ripped the stickies off too hard?) and she tried to keep her awake when I don't think she was ready, my wife then had a episode from her ptsd. The nurse was accidently scaring her by telling her not to close her eyes or cry, she was panicking while I was still in the waiting room, on the other side of the recovery room door listening, I was waiting for someone to come and get me so I would be the FIRST person she sees when she wakes up. I was and am infuriated that this happened because I had Dr.Ford, and a nurse tell me 4 times I would see her soon. They even had let my grandmother in before me, she was our ride but it only confused her to where I was. Her nurse had said there was poor communication up in the front, but this was beyond excusable. This place does good work, but I'm not too sure about how close they are scheduling appointments together, not to mention how long she had to wait to get an appointment at all. Her waking up just seemed a little rushed because someone else was getting a tooth extracted at 2:30/2:45, while they were actually late for her 1:45 appointment slot that was originally 1:30 when they had first scheduled it. It was her first ever surgery, and I also went here to get mine out, I had a completely different experience. This review is on both of our behalves, I was so nervous for her and was more calm than the nurse! Haha! I would review higher if this didn't scare the crap out of me! But she's doing good!
Absolutely and highly recommend Dr. Ford! He and his staff are beyond amazing! I had 16 teeth pulled and same day dentures put in. Surgery was fast and literally painless! I felt nothing and they talked me through everything that was happening! The staff were so kind and compassionate. The nurse allowed me to text her as I couldn’t talk well. She called and checked on me and was available for my every need (even just questions). I drove three hours from Corinna and this is where I’ll be going to have my bottom teeth done! Seriously, y’all go here!!!
I would like to thank Dr. Henry Ford, DMD and his wonderful staff at Northern Maine Oral & Facial Surgery for the great care I received while having oral surgery. From start to finish, Dr. Ford, his front office crew, his nurse, his Anesthesiologist, and his surgical assistants provided exceptional knowledge, help and service. I could not have asked for better care as they all went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and taken care of. Dr. Ford was amazing and thorough in explaining the procedure, what to expect and to answer any questions or concerns I had. Again, many thanks to you and your staff for the kindness and compassionate treatment. Awesome job!
