I went in to get my wisdom teeth extracted with Dabell. When I went for my consultation, we had planned on general anesthesia to put me under since I suffer with panic attacks and anxiety, especially around dental care. At no point during the consultation or instructions did they say anything about facial piercings. I have a small septum piercing that could not be removed, and because of this he refused to put me under. I was already in the chair hooked up to everything when he said this. He said it would have to be a light sedation or I had to reschedule the entire appointment somewhere else. Mind you, I had scheduled this appointment more than 2 months in advance and my husband and I both had to take time off work for this. I didn't want to reschedule for those reasons. I agreed to the light sedation but this was so last minute and unexpected I started having a panic attack. Dabell does not deal well with anxious patients. He did nothing to make me feel comfortable, and seemed impatient and in a rush to reschedule or continue. I understand tight schedules but in my consultation and before the appointment I specifically said I struggle with anxiety so this should have been expected. Especially with the sudden change in the plan for the procedure. When he did continue, he was very rough and it was very painful so he had to go back and numb again. The whole experience was extremely traumatizing. I would never recommend someone who struggles with anxiety to go to Dabell. I would not want someone else to have the same experience. That being said, I had no issue with his staff they treated me very well and were so sweet, caring and professional with fantastic bedside manner.

Dr. DaBell has done two implants for me and did an amazing job. So glad my general dentist recommended him. He told me you won’t be sorry if you go to him and he was 100% correct. Dr. DaBell also has a great staff in his front office and his assistants. I went back to my general dentist to have the crowns done and he made several comments about the quality of work Dr. DaBell had done.

I first went to Dr. Dabell in 2012 for wisdom tooth removal. His exceptional work and care made a lasting impression so much so that 10 years later when I needed a bone graft and implant I knew exactly where to go. Even now when I live in a different town it is worth the drive to go back to Dr. Dabell because I know I will get the best treatment and care. Not only does he do extraordinary work he also truly cares about his patients. The staff are all amazing as well. I highly recommend Dr. Dabell and his team!
