I was referred here by another dentist for my daughter for root canal therapy. The first visit should have been my red flag. They called my 10 year old daughter dramatic when she was scared to let them take x-rays. They told me a couple days they’d call me back when insurance approved of her procedure. It was two weeks later. That appointment came and went okay, no biggie. It’s been almost two weeks and she started having tooth pain since Friday evening. Monday they were closed, I left a voicemail. Tuesday morning no word, I call them back. I ask them if they can see her or prescribe her something. They said they’d send in a pill. She unfortunately can’t take pills yet so I asked if she could have a liquid. They were going to send in penicillin every 6 hours. You’re supposed to take that on an empty stomach. I tried to tell them she gets in the bus at 6:30 and doesn’t get off until 4 and to see if she can maybe take it 3 times a day or something. Whoever I spoke to got real nasty and said “How old is she? And she can’t take a pill?” And then argued with me about how she could take the medicine and finally “So why can’t she take it 3 times a day?” Like ???? That’s what I was asking??? I got off the phone practically in tears because I just wanted something to help my baby feel better. I called another dentist to have a second opinion and they said that tooth should have just been pulled and referred us to an oral surgeon in Hattiesburg and agreed that tooth cannot be saved. They wasted our time and put my child through this pain. DO NOT GO HERE.
This doctor was not kid friendly. Both of my girls said that he was rough, rude, and had no patience. After three visits he kept putting a temporary filling in my daughter’s tooth. He kept saying it has to be done in intervals. All the while charging me $219.00 for each visit plus I had insurance. I contacted my insurance company and found out they were over charging me. I took my girls and found another dentist. I will never subject my girls to him again. I let the dentist that recommended him for the root canal know don’t ever send another referral for him.
I had an exceptional experience at Dr Bakers Dentist ! From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming and professional, making me feel at ease right away. The dentist was thorough, explained every step of my treatment, and answered all my questions with patience and care. The entire team truly went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. I can’t recommend Dr Baker’s Dentist enough, by the way, anyone looking for top-notch dental care with a personal touch. Thank you for making my 1st visit so pleasant! Also, his nurse Nancy is so sweet and amazing!!!!⚙️🦷🪥
Absolutely love this office and Ms. Lisa really worked with us and was very understanding about our finances and worked with us to figure out a safe and cheaper route to getting my husbands tooth out! 10/10 would recommend!
This was my first time coming to this establishment and I will never come back. The lady named Alesia over the billing department is by far the most rude individual I have ever had a chance speaking with. She didn't allow me to finish my sentences, she made me come to the clinic to pick up a paper I never needed, she talked big talk on the phone but face to face she was quite as a mouse.
