Absolutely do not recommend. The experience with the surgical dental assistants was extremely disappointing. Communication was poor throughout the process, and aftercare instructions were minimal. Patients should not be left to figure things out on their own after surgery with only a vague handout. Practices need to do better than the bare minimum when it comes to patient communication and anxiety-aware care. especially during surgical procedures.
It is truly incredible how fast and simple getting 4 wisdom teeth out was today with Dr. Sherban!!! We were in and out in a 1 hour and 15 minutes!!!! I had 4 impacted wisdom teeth that I had been putting off getting out thinking it would be a painful and long recovery taking me away from work too long. Well, after waiting far too long and ending up in a lot of pain, I called Dr. Sherban’s office to see if they could get me in. All of the front office staff we spoke with were all super nice and accommodating. They got me right in and I was able to do a consultation and my surgery back to back in less than 2 hours and in just a few hours of being back home, I am feeling great!!! Very little discomfort and far better than I did before the surgery. If you have oral surgery needs, I would highly recommend Dr. Sherban!!! No need to be nervous or anxious with this doctor!!! 10 out of 10!
I would not recommend this office for Dental Surgery. The surgery itself went fine, but there were multiple long waits in the office to even get to the surgery. I understand things happen, but why have an appointment if you have to wait an additional 45 minutes before even being taken back to a room. As others have mentioned, their billing department is horrible. They did not do the estimate correctly even after I pointed out several things within my insurance coverage. Therefore, I was due a pretty large refund. It took months of calling and hounding to get a refund. The administrator is never available when you call. Even after being told the check would be ready to be picked up...it was not ready and I had to wait for over 40 minutes for the administrator to return and the check filled out. I was supposed to have another surgery with this office, but went to a different surgeon in JC. It was a completely different experience and I would highly recommend looking elsewhere.
I accompanied my adult daughter for an emergency appointment with Dr. Sherban today. I am overwhelmed by the compassion, kindness, and courtesy extended to us by every single member of the staff there. Each procedure is carefully explained, both beforehand and as the work is being done. They go the extra mile to ease fears and ensure as positive an experience as possible during dental treatments.
I had the pleasure of taking my daughter to Dr. Sherban's office. They were well organized, very friendly, and very knowledgeable. I called to find care for my daughter who had been in pain the entire weekend - unable to eat or drink. Libby answered the phone at the office and she was amazing! She took my information and my daughter's, then called the insurance company got all those details worked out, got us a cost, and she did her best to save us money. She also worked a miracle by working my daughter in the very next morning for the consult and surgery. I can not say enough how truly apperceptive I am of her, she went above & beyond in her kindness toward us by just simply doing her job & doing it well! They have an online client form that helped speed the process up. When we went the next day there was a very organized process routine that was very smooth. They took my daughter back, Dr. Sherban removed her wisdom teeth, they let me know and told me where to drive to. I went around the building. Dr. Sherban came out asked if I had any questions and let me know she would be out shortly and there would be specific written instructions (which is fantastic as I forget what they say once they say it). The nurse brought her out, told me the medicines were called in and waiting at the pharmacy for us and on our way we went. The medicines were there waiting for us when we arrived. I would definitely recommend this facility if needing oral surgery.
