My son, Luke, needed his four wisdom teeth out and he was extremely nervous. From the moment we walked in, the office staff were friendly and welcoming. They could sense how nervous Luke was and their cheery positive manner began to make him feel more at ease. Dr. Matton was amazing with him. He made Luke feel safe and joked around with him, as well. Upon Dr. Matton finding out that Luke would need to make a trip to the orthodontist immediately following the surgery to put brackets on molars that were hidden by his wisdom teeth, Dr. Matton called the ortho and told him that he would do this at the same time so Luke could go home and rest. That in itself put Luke’s mind at ease. Within 2 hours of getting home, we received a call from the office to check on how he was doing. This experience was made a positive one due to Dr. Matton and his staff. We are very thankful and highly recommend him to anyone needing oral surgery.

I personally do not like going to the dentist, I’ve had some bad experiences and that stays with you. Unfortunately i fractured a tooth on a Friday night of coarse, tooth pain is the worst so it was a rough weekend. I called East Lyme Oral Surgery and they got me in that day, which I was very grateful. The girls at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. Dr. Matton and his assistant Melissa worked very well together. He made me feel very comfortable and he is Great at what he does… When I tell you it was quick and painless I couldn’t believe it… Friendly staff, clean and inviting I will be recommending my family and friends to East Lyme Oral Surgery… Thanks Again for Everything 😊

I waited 2 years before I gathered enough nerve to go to an oral surgeon again. Dr. Matton's office is superlative. My experience was excellent, before, during and after treatment. Everyone is so polite and professional. True concern for patient anxiety. I would not hesitate to return. A+++
