I believe a doctor or dentist's office really is only as good as the staff that works there. After all, you spend more time with the staff than the actual doctor. Dr Sharpe, herself provides excellent care and is an amazing dentist... however, in an emergency situation I called at 4:00 in the afternoon and apparently the staff don't take calls after 4, and the phone system offered to forward me to their emergency number with some kind of person on-call. I was in extreme pain needing a root canal. The receptionist that answered told me they were not in the office and that the office was closed and to call back in the morning. Why in the hell would you have an emergency phone line if you aren't going to treat the calls like actual emergencies and provide ANY assistance? I am 59 years old with extensive dental history and I've never ever ever been rejected by a dentist when in such obvious pain. At a minimum they could have given me some kind of advice for managing the pain overnight. I am absolutely livid! No matter how good Dr Sharpe is, I will find another office with staff that actually cares about the wellbeing of their patients to DO SOMETHING TO HELP.

Had a successful dental treatment, but when I had an issue “Doctor” yelled at me with no self awareness that her reaction was more about her than my pain. Then the next time I saw her, I got an enthusiastic sales pitch for other procedures. Finally, I realized the pain was coming from a different tooth. I won’t be going back. Adding that to make clear inviting me back isn’t the solution.

From the initial phone call to the office, I knew this place would be fantastic. Cindy returned my call first thing in the morning when I left a message after work hours the prior day. I was seen by Dr. Sharpe the very next day. I appreciated her willingness and availability to see me and attend to some fillings that had fallen out. Dr. Sharpe and her staff made the entire experience joyful, hilarious, entertaining and FUN. Words one would not usually use to describe a dental appointment. And it goes without saying that she and her staff did an EXCELLENT job and the price was right on point. Highly recommend anyone in Santa Fe and surrounding areas to go see her for regular work, or if you are a passing summer visitor like myself. My initial review from 5 years ago (above) still holds true today November 23, 2021. Over the weekend, on Saturday, November 20, my Dad from out town, who had a temporary crown from his dentist back in San Diego, fell out! Dr. Sharpe came into the office on an emergency call and glued the temporary crown back in place for my Dad and he is now in love. For a little back story, my Dad has had teeth problems for over 6 months and having seen over 6 dentists and Dr. Sharpe not only made my Dad feel loved, her compassion, kindness and coming in on a weekend, just made my Dad want to move to Santa Fe, just to have her as his own dentist. I stand by my review from 5 years ago and Dr. Sharpe is simply the best in town if not anywhere else!
