Powered by GoogleI was nervous about sedation, made that very apparent to the people in the room, and did not feel respected. Even after telling them how nervous I was for sedation, I was not given any prep. No countdown, no "are you ready?", no debrief of what the plan was. They simply set everything up and pushed the meds without checking with me. And then I was waking up after. I had wanted more information before we did it because part of the procedure hadn't really ever been discussed with me and I had misunderstood what it was (long story), but it didn't matter because I was asleep before I could ask/protest. I felt very under informed on what was going to happen and very caught off guard. It doesn't sit right with me to put someone under without checking with them. I had to call afterwards to get my questions answered (too late to do anything about any of it because they had done it all already) and did confirm that I did not forget the countdown, there wasn't one. Long story short. If you're a go with the flow person who doesn't need much detail and are good with "get in, give us your money, get out" its a great place. They know what they are doing and I'm certain they did a good job. For cleanings and regular dentist work, they are lovely. People are kind and friendly. But for sedation procedures, I expected better. I'm sure this is all routine to them, so it's so easy for "we're going to do x procedure" to feel like enough info, but for me, it wasn't. If that's good enough for you, these people are great.
