About the Practice
Drs. Boyd, located at 515 Madison Avenue in Manhattan, has been providing patients with exceptional prosthetic and cosmetic dental care since 1930. At Drs. Boyd, our long-standing tradition of excellence in dentistry will be clear to patients from the very first appointment. A member of our family has been practicing this craft since 1896, helping patients of all ages smile with confidence throughout the years. Today, our third and fourth generation dentists have an incredible wealth of insight and time-tested skills to share with families in the Midtown, Manhattan area, including the latest technologies and restorative materials. I always see Angela at Dr. Boyd's for my teeth cleaning. I have been to so many dentists, but Dr. Boyd's office is beyond a five star review. I switched to Dr. Boyd about 8 months ago, and have never looked back. His office is welcoming and the entire staff is just perfect! Angela takes so much time doing my cleaning. She takes care of dental issues that I never knew were present. Dr. Boyd is so beyond any dentist I have ever been too. He is precise and so informed. For the first time in my life I am totally relaxed in this perfect dental center!

I've been a patient of this practice for over 40 years! (I'm amazed to say). Every member of the staff is as wonderful and professional as Dr. Alvin and his son Dr. Justin have been. My work with Ned Boyd completely derailed my care as well as my oral health. I came to him for temporary teeth in conjunction with pre surgical braces for reconstructive jaw surgery. I'd already been in two other sets of temporary teeth from other providers that were specifically designed to withstand the strain of pre surgical braces and took roughly 8-9 hours total to install. When Ned Boyd installed my temps it only took a few hours. I asked if these temps could withstand the braces which typically take a year or more and was reassured they were good. From the beginning they began to fall out, chip and have problems that kept me coming back to the office. Eventually I consulted other providers alongside my surgeon who all agreed the temps were of poor quality and would have to be completely redone again. Through the process Ned continually asked when my surgery was as if he though it would be in a few short months. I think he tried his best with what knowledge he had. I do not think he had any clue what he was doing when he took me on as a patient or what kind/quality of work was required. I was left with poor quality temporary teeth that only worsened other chronic issues and cost just as much as quality temporary teeth. I am still paying off the total of such negligent care which makes it even harder to pay for the care I need now.
As always, everything is done to perfection. From the initial hello to the last good by, your every need is anticipated and deftly responded to. I think I am the only one of my friends in my senior age category who doesn't have any dental problems. That's because Dr. Boyd and his incredible team have been taking care of me for over 30 years..
