This is exactly what happens when you let these incompetent dentists touch your teeth. They’re not in it to help you—they only care about money. Completely unprofessional and dangerous.
Dr Scott Terry, his assistant Erica Harms, and his staff have gained my admiration and gratitude for the way they have treated me as a patient since February 2020. I needed a Periodontist, I googled and I found Dr Terry in Dakota Dunes, SD. Since my first visit, the treatment I needed, the consideration and dedication from this doctor, are beyond anyone’s expectations. Thank you for the great service and kindness. I have been at Dr. Terry's office since March 2021 for my perio problems after I had few expert opinions at Iowa City and Omaha. Dr. Terry guided me from basic cleaning procedures to alternative solutions for my specific complex condition. Although the office didn't accept my insurance, they helped make sure insurance pays me back possible. We decided to go for laser-assisted surgery with some bone graft and some extraction and to evaluate further. Dr. Terry did finish my surgery in 3 visits, maintaining my comfort level, while it was planned originally for two visits. One thing I liked about Dr. Terry is that he talks straight and says the facts suggesting what service is best for the patient's condition whether that service is available at their office or not, I think that is the one thing every patient seeks from their expert or any healthcare provider!! I am currently under perio-maintenance every three months, and the last visit shows PD reduction back to normal. I am very excited to see the result of the bone graft next month, and I will update you as we progress further. Shortly, I may need to see the oral surgeon for my impacted wisdom tooth and may have to do one implant to maintain the function of the teeth. I also believe that everyone loves to learn and grow each day! The look is also important to us, but it isn't sustainable if teeth function is not strong enough.
