I can’t say enough good things about this dental office. From the very first phone call, I was treated with genuine kindness and empathy. April, who took my call, went above and beyond to make sure I was okay through the entire process. She never rushed me and truly cared about how I was feeling, which meant more than I can put into words. Dr. Durbin is an incredible dentist—patient, understanding, and compassionate. As a former addict, dental visits can be extremely anxiety-provoking for me, but he made me feel valued not just as a patient, but as a human being. There was absolutely no judgment, only respect and professionalism. Rachelle, the dental hygienist, was equally amazing. She was gentle, reassuring, and explained everything in a way that helped calm my nerves. And a special shout-out to Libby, the sweet support animal, who brought so much comfort just by being there. This office sets the standard for what compassionate healthcare should look like. If you’re someone who struggles with anxiety, past addiction, or just wants to be treated with dignity and care, I highly recommend this team.
I loved going here until recently, Dr. Durbin is fantastic and his dental hygienist are great too, my problem was his front desk staff. I have called multiple times and when someone does answer the phone they say they write my name and number down to be contacted back and they never call. That was the first time so I gave the benefit of the doubt because maybe they got busy and couldn’t return my call. That’s okay. Then it happened 2 more times, same thing supposedly wrote my name down and never called back. The 4th time I called it was after my appointment wanting to see if I could switch my insurance around, of course it was the woman who checked me out that day at my appointment and was incredibly rude named April. I gave her some grace that day just because I know how customer service is and maybe she was having a bad day so I forgot about it and moved on. I ended up calling Mortenson to schedule an appointment with them instead just because of past experience with this practice. Then yesterday I called to have my records sent over to Mortenson and what do you know the same woman April answers the phone, at first she was nice then all of a sudden the attitude came out and her customer service went out the door. It was so bad I had her on speaker so me and my supervisor could figure out the schedule for other Dr. appointments and my supervisor was absolutely astonished by the audacity of this woman over the phone. She has never heard someone with such bad customer service. It was to the point where I was over it because that’s not the first time but the second time you’re going to have an attitude with a client who says they are trying to leave your practice and you aren’t even going to try to keep that client. Not sure where the training went other than out the door? Not trying to have April lose her job or anything I just think there needs to be better training on customer service if you’re going to work at a front desk where you speak with people all day. This is where this practice clearly lacks. Best wishes.
My most sincere thanks to this team. They have always treated us like family, but the last few days they proved that they really do care. My husband was in for a routine visit, but because they knew him as a person, they knew something was not guite right and got him medical care right away. Because of their care and quick actions he was already at the hospital at the critical point. I cannot thank this Great team enough!
Best dentist I’ve been to in 46 years. Transparent, friendly, communicates with patients, and is a comfortable/clean atmosphere.
