I had a very disappointing experience with this dental office regarding a billing issue. My insurance was incorrectly coded as out-of-network, resulting in an improper balance. I contacted the office multiple times prior to my scheduled visit in an attempt to have the error corrected, but no action was taken. At my appointment, I was informed that services would be refused unless I paid an incorrect amount owed, an amount that I do not owe under my insurance and that resulted solely from the office’s billing error. The dentist declined to speak with me directly regarding the matter and stated that he had no contact information for the billing company responsible for the coding/service address. The lack of communication, accountability, and willingness to resolve a straightforward billing mistake was unacceptable. I would not recommend this practice.
