Even though the staff and everyone there was sweet, I was referred to the office because I had an abscess with a swallow jaw. When I arrived and they received my X-ray, they told me that not only did I need my first molar removed (which was the original tooth I came in for), but also my wisdom tooth. I was in severe pain, and they told me that because of my health problems, I should have it removed immediately. No one informed me that I could be numb for weeks to months after the extraction. I called today—this was my second time calling about the numbness—because I have never been numb this long after an extraction. Dr. Lala asked me if I did not listen, but he was not the person I originally spoke with while signing the papers. I was only told verbally that I needed the teeth removed due to my health condition and that I would be put to sleep. I disliked the response I was given because I am genuinely concerned about whether I am going to be okay. My mother was also with me, and no one informed her either that I could be numb for weeks to months. I believe this was very important information that I should have been told beforehand, but I wasn’t. I was only told that I needed to have not just one, but two teeth extracted. Im scared though it’s been 2 weeks later and my mouth is still numb. Not sure if that’s normal or not I’ve never been numb this long after an extraction.
Very speedy service. Staff was compassionate and Dr. Lala talked my daughter thru the entire process and made sure that she could feel no pain before he started. Also the facility is very well maintained and the overall experience was so worth the drive. And yes I will do future business with them and tell others about this place. !!!
They were fantastic! I hate going to get my teeth worked on at any time but,they made it as comfortable as one could. The whole staff was friendly and extremely helpful. The doctor was so nice! I was in and out in a jiffy. No problems occured afterwards either..👍👍👍
A good experience overall. I went there for an initial appointment. They did whatever was necessary to accommodate me and take care of extracting my wisdom tooth in one single visit. The office person up front was very polite and welcoming. Not so friendly at the back window, yet took care of my needs. Dr. Lala and his assistant was amazing. They kept me informed throughout the process. I felt that Dr. Lala and his staff cared about me and my outcome. I highly recommend East MS Oral and Facial surgery.
my dentist originally referred me to a different place for wisdom teeth removal but after reading reviews, i asked to be switched to dr. lala and his staff and it was the best decision i could have made. not only was the procedure itself quick and easy, everyone was so so sweet and made me feel so comfortable considering it was my first anesthesia experience. they even called to check up on me once i got home. i unfortunately ended up with a dry socket but i called and they got me in the same day to help. in meridian, it’s a struggle to find a medical staff who actually cares about their patients but this place proves they exist. thank you to everyone who contributed to my amazing experience!
