Today was my first visit and I can personally attest to the excellence I experienced throughout my visit. After a friendly greeting with Laura at reception, I was checked in and seated comfortably for less than ten minutes before Niki, a super skilled and highly professional dental hygienist introduced herself and invited me to one of the many modern, dental rooms. I must note that Niki came for me exactly at my scheduled time for my appointment, NOT 20 plus minutes late as is so often the case elsewhere. In addition to the respectful manner in which Niki treated me, explaining each step along the way and making sure I was comfortable, she was also very proficient and gentle, accomplishing my teeth cleaning with no discomfort. I was also amazed at the high level of technology used to enhance my care as Niki used a small wand-like instrument to easily take pictures and x-rays - again with no discomfort at all. After the cleaning, the dentist, Dr. Dameworth, came in and gave me a through exam, followed by a detailed discussion, aided with the help of the snapshots and x-rays, to fully explain options going forward. Dr. Dameworth displayed a friendly and caring attitude without any pressure. He simply explained the exam results along with various options. I truly felt like a valued patient, and here it was - my first time there. It was very apparent to me, from start to finish, that this dental practice places a high level of value on their patient's well-being. When I was done, Niki even took the time to walk me out and thank me for coming. I am so glad I decided to switch my dental care to Eastern Carolina Dental; their high ratings are well earned. From the ultra-clean and modern facility to the professional yet friendly care, this is the best dental practice I've ever experienced.
had a good experience with my dentist. He was polite, gentle, and friendly, and his assistant was also kind and helpful. I was able to get three fillings and two crowns completed in just one visit, which I really appreciated. The only downside to my visit was my interaction with the front desk. I asked if I could pay $900 that day and take care of the remaining copay when I return next week for my permanent crown, but I was told I had to pay the full amount right away. I also felt the customer service could have been warmer, as I wasn’t greeted or thanked during the interaction.
The entire staff here really does care about their patients. From the front desk to the doctor. I was waiting on the Va for approval for a few months at least, I’d assumed they’d taken me off the roster or forgotten about me. Why wouldn’t they it’d been months right? Nope not only did they remember me but they called and checked. Let me know I still had a spot there and advised me on how to get the Va approval through. Then I get to the appointment and my nurse/dental assistant is absolutely amazing. Did her job perfectly while not only keeping me comfortable and maintaining a conversation but also relaying important information to both me and the dentist. Very very professional. The dentist was great to. Sadly he couldn’t get me numb but I expected that, but he didn’t feel some type of way about it and only wanted the best care. He was honest about what they could and couldn’t do at the office and I really appreciated that. He gave me multiple options for care elsewhere and explained each one to me. Actually once I saw how honest and forthcoming he was being on top of everything else I immediately made sure my cleaning was still scheduled and this office would still be my regular dentist. If anyone were to ask for a good dentist in town I’d send them your way!
My first visit to this office and it was great from start to finish the staff was friendly and welcoming. Tonya my hygienist explained everything as she cleaned my teeth. She was outstanding! Dr Morton was awesome explained what I needed in terms I understood. I left feeling confident in my treatment plan and feeling good about the cost. I can definitely say this is the best experience I've had at a dental office. They where on schedule which is what i really appreciate. Just an outstanding experience!!!
I have been very fortunate to have an outstanding Dentist. He's very professional,thoughtful and proficient throughout my dental experience at Eastern Carolina Dental. I definitely don't like dental period but my dentist and his assistant,makes me feel real comfortable and ask me to relax constantly. He stop and communicates with me ,to ensure that I am not in any pain. His technical proficiency and experience is at the top of my list. Respectfully Mike
