My son had his wire on his braces come off on a Friday afternoon. His ortho and dentist were closed. We walked in here and the team took great care of him. Dr. Obeidi got him right into a chair and within 10 minutes he was back at school. Never missed a beat. Great office, great staff! The staff was over the top when it came to service and attention! Please give them a look when in the area looking for a dentist home!
My experience at Elite Dental Specialists was mixed, and I want to document it with clarity and neutrality. I arrived with no cavities, no fractures, no sensitivity, no structural weakness, and minimal tartar. My gums responded well during cleaning, and the x-rays confirmed no acute concerns and dentist noted my good oral hygiene. Despite this, the prosthodontist repeatedly recommended crowns. The treatment plan felt insurance-driven rather than patient-centered, and I was told multiple times that they could submit whatever my insurance would cover, even though my exam results did not support the need for those procedures. My hygienist was excellent—skilled, attentive, and the most grounded part of my visit. That said, I encountered significant miscommunication regarding VA Community Care coordination. Staff provided inconsistent and contradictory information, which created unnecessary confusion. I value transparency and accuracy, and that standard was not consistently met. I also requested a copy of my dental records and did not receive them. Access to my own records is a basic expectation in dental care. Overall, my experience reflected a split between integrity and scripting: genuine care from the hygienist, but a treatment plan and front-office communication that did not align with my needs or with what was documented clinically.
