I've been a patient with Elmwood, specifically Dr. Kayleigh Comfort, since about 2018 and hands down she's the best dentist I've had in my life. Sadly my teeth need a lot of attention and work but Dr. Comfort and her assistant always makes visits as painless as possible and keeps a reassuring positive attitude through the whole appointment. It's the kind of top tier service that makes you think twice about moving away from Rochester.
We have been patients at Elmwood Dental since the 1970’s. While the people have changed over the many years, the professionalism, caring, wonderful attitudes stay amazingly strong. We love going there. It feels like family. And Amanda and Dr Comfort Daly are keeping that tradition alive and vibrant.
This was my first visit to the practice! I was greeted with a warm and welcoming staff! I don’t know her name, but she was friendly and engaging! I then worked with Teddy, who made me feel at ease as he took x-rays and photos. What a wonderful young man!
I had a 10/10 experience this morning at Elmwood Dental with Dr. Khan! I needed 3 cavities filled (more than what I planned) and she was so kind, professional, and thorough. She pulled up my X-rays on a large screen and compared them with real-time photos that she had just taken of my teeth. She explained the benefits of the suggested procedures and mentioned that there is sometimes “gray area” in dentistry that requires good clinical judgement - and Dr. Khan provided just that. I felt safe and comfortable in her care. I also brought my 8 year old daughter with me and Dr. Khan interacted so kindly with her. To pass the time, she gave my daughter a fun writing prompt. My daughter began writing and then excitedly asked if she could read us what she wrote about her favorite planet. It was just so thoughtful. When we left, my daughter said “I really LOVED your dentist, mom”. To which I replied, “‘Me too!” Going to the dentist isn’t super fun, but Dr. Khan 100% made the experience. Her assistant (Kate? Kat?) was also so wonderful! She took extra care with the suction (to not pinch my lips) and even wiped my face when water dripped down my cheek. Thank you so much Dr. Khan! I hope I don’t need to see you in the future, but if I do I am thankful it will be YOU!
I have just completed my Invisalign journey with Dr. Missy Baleno at Elmwood Dental, and I cannot say enough about how it was the most incredible example of patient care that I’ve ever experienced as a patient from start to finish. Dr. Missy and Michelle were by my side as educators, advocates, and with an exceptional level of skill, attention to detail and compassionate care throughout the process. My objectives and concerns were tended to with the highest level of professionalism, and the time dedicated to ensuring I was completely satisfied and comfortable throughout treatment was absolutely phenomenal. Dr. Missy is both approachable and relatable, which immediately puts yourself at ease as a patient. Expectations were set every step of the way, and I was completely empowered as a patient. To say I enjoyed the process was an understatement. The process FAR exceeded my expectations and the results were outstanding. It was truly a “wow.” If you are at all considering Invisalign, Dr. Missy Baleno and her team at Elmwood Dental absolutely set the bar. I have not regretted it for a moment and it was the best investment in myself. I feel beyond fortunate to be in their care.
