We have followed Dr. Holmgren for more than a year. He did my son's wisdom teeth extraction last year followed by double jaw surgery this year. He is kind and detail oriented. He spent time explaining his surgery plan in details to us. The surgery went well and the result is amazing with minimal pain. Upper Valley is very lucky to have you, Dr. Holmgren!
It is a rare moment when I praise the medical community. But true is due! Dr Holmgren, his team, the nurses - outstanding! They went out of their way to accomodate me, help me through the process, and take care of me. Thank you Dr. Holmgren! You so ROCK!
Amazing job with a wisdom tooth extraction preformed in OR under general anesthesia. He practiced trauma informed care, validated my specific pain management plan, and he validated all sensory requests I made that I needed for the procedure and the recovery. Dr. Holmgren is professional, kind, and considerate. The surgery was late starting- but that does not matter at all. The quality of care, consideration, and surgical specialty overshadowed the longer than planned wait. If you are on the spectrum or have a trauma background Dr. Holmgren and his team go above and beyond- they truly care and put in 100% effort to make sure you feel seen, heard, validated, and taken care of. The medical field would be a better, safer place for patients with more physicians like Dr. Holmgren! I feel so grateful that I was connected with him and his team.
Dr. Holmgren is great. I was apprehensive at first being in the dental field but he was everything I could have asked for and more. He spent all the time I needed answering questions and discussing treatment options without being pushy. Very knowledgeable and professional, Great personality too. Highly recommend him!
I am absolutely disgusted by Dartmouth-Hitchcock’s oral surgery unit. I have needed my wisdom teeth out since November, and my dentist sent a referral after Thanksgiving. Dartmouth was supposed to call to schedule a consultation appointment, but they never did. Finally, the week before Christmas I called them repeatedly until someone answered. They initially scheduled me out to the end of March for a simple consultation appointment. I understood that they may be extremely busy and working under unprecedented conditions. However, today, a few days before my appointment (after already requesting work off), they decided that they are rescheduling my appointment to the end of April. I explained to their utterly unhelpful receptionist that my teeth bleed all day, every day and she made a point to let me know that she did not care one bit. The risk of infection that this facility is putting me at is concerning, and the disrespectful customer service was the cherry on top toward me writing this review. It is evident that Dartmouth-Hitchcock does not prioritize the health or wellbeing of their patients. This definitely makes me nervous for the kind of treatment I will receive during the surgical procedure. If you have the option to go anywhere other than here, I would tell you to take it and run.
