Powered by GoogleMolar extraction & implant. Dr. Sheffield is personable, and effective at setting expectations around my implant procedure. As an older person, I was very aware that implant failure is more of an issue for me. She answered all my questions, and showed me on my x ray what I had to work with before we got started. I opted for sedation with both procedures, and described previous experiences, good and bad. The nurse was great about replicating my good experiences. I wish I’d had access to this group for my kid’s wisdom teeth. I’ll be recommending them. The staff are friendly and efficient; very little wait time to being seen. It’s possible to find a spot away from a tv in the waiting room. My very minor complaint is that the plethora of text & email reminders came from an unknown entity with no reference to the medical practice till I clicked through. Given the quantity of scam spam flying around, the QM business office would do well to include the practice or MD name in communications. (I did delete it the first time.) Dr. Sheffield & staff, however, are stellar.
Dr. Sheffield and her staff were wonderful when my daughter had her wisdom teeth out! They were great to calm her nerves and so patient in explaining everything to make sure she was comfortable! Quincy is very lucky to have Dr. Sheffield! She is a very skilled surgeon and works hard to make each visit a good experience for her patients!
Extraction went great. Implant did not. The implant fell out with in a week, and had infection which I'm sure was the cause of the failure. I am still expected to $3000 for nothing. You would think they would at least give you half back.
I'm your .1% permanent nerve damage from a boney impaction wisdom tooth extraction.. i met you at the U of I... my mouth has never been the same since!!! I'm the one that woke up during procedure! Around 2012. Was told in 6 months to a year and half for full sensation to return. I'm 33 almost 34 now. Still lack of sensation. I asked how many times you'd done this. Your reply was "thousands"... the sensation of hot is indescribable. I regret that day.
Erin Sheffield did amazing work on my teeth extraction. She listened to my concerns and needs with my health problems. Her and staff there was so kind and welcoming. definitely will be returning for future needs!
