Powered by GoogleThis is the first time I have been to Everyone's Family Dental. First of all, I found it very refreshing not to have to wait weeks to get an appointment. I simply had to let them know when I could come in. Everyone there was very kind and explained things really well. The atmosphere was very clean and calming. All in all it was a very positive experience and I will be coming back.
This place is truly the worst. They discriminate against individuals with mental health issues. I initially believed they administered medication right at the office, but they told me they'd never done that and accused me of being rude because I thought they had provided the meds during my last visit. I apologize for any misunderstanding on my part and for any impression of rudeness. In reality, they were the ones behaving rudely—treating me poorly and speaking to me as if I were stupid. I never intended to be rude; I genuinely thought they had given me the medication before. Instead of clarifying this, they told me they don't give out meds on-site but do prescribe them in a very rude manner, I might add. As a result, they decided to blacklist me over this misunderstanding. I have bipolar disorder and am currently in a manic psychosis state. However, I have never been violent. I experience delusions and sometimes misremember past events. The staff and management at this establishment are truly unprofessional and disrespectful
I went there for the first time this year and had a really good experience. It was nice not having to wait 5 months just to get an appointment for a cleaning. The assistants are super friendly and actually make an effort to help you feel comfortable. The space has gotten a lot nicer even just between my first and last visits with new furniture and decorations. The wait time can be a bit long, but after talking to the staff, I get it. They’re one of the few places around that takes Forward Health. The front desk guy was great, and the dentist took her time with me, explained everything in detail, did a thorough job with my cleaning, and made getting two fillings no big deal. I’d definitely go back.
If negative stars were an option, I would have given that! Where do I even begin? Routine cleanings at this office lasted approximately 10 minutes, compared to the 45-minute, thorough cleanings I received at my previous dentist. Ongoing dental issues were not addressed when they were still manageable and instead were allowed to progress until root canals were recommended. This occurred on two occasions. For the first tooth, I was referred to an endodontist for a root canal, only to later learn that the office was not accepting new patients for three months. During that waiting period, the tooth became severely infected, my face swelled significantly, and I ultimately had no choice but to have the tooth extracted. For the second tooth, an existing filling cracked and fell out. The dentist refused to repair it, stating it would be a “liability,” and instead placed a temporary over-the-counter filling that lasted approximately one hour. She offered to extract the tooth that same day, but I declined, hoping a root canal would preserve it. I was again referred to an endodontist and assured they were accepting patients and returning referral calls. I contacted the office immediately after leaving and was told—once again—that they were not accepting patients until January. Still in pain, I called to schedule an extraction and was told there was a note in my chart stating I could not be scheduled because I had been referred out—for a root canal, not an extraction. After further discussion, I was informed the dentist would no longer extract the tooth because it would “likely break,” and a referral to an oral surgeon would be placed. This was confusing, as the dentist had been willing to extract the tooth just two days earlier. I decided to seek a second opinion, and I am extremely thankful that I did. The second dentist found the root to be completely healthy, and the tooth was easily repaired with a filling. No root canal or extraction was needed. Additionally, the office sends text messages after appointments offering a gift card in exchange for a review. I completed these requests twice and never received the promised gift card. After submitting those reviews, my treatment by the office noticeably changed for the worse. This experience is deeply concerning, especially given that this is one of the few dental offices in Wausau that accepts BadgerCare. I have been seen by other local dentists, none of whom operate in this manner. I would strongly urge patients—especially those relying on Medicaid—to seek a second opinion before agreeing to any major treatment recommendations from this office.
Wonderful to have a place we can bring children for dental care, and nice staff working with them. The man at the front desk always has a smile on his face! No complaints from our kids at all so that has been wonderful.
