While I understand that Express Dental Laboratories states they “do not directly care for patients,” my experience was very different. Starting 09/25/2024 I worked directly with Rendon Chambers through the Drumright Dental Center, where he acted in a clinical dental role - (I was told he was a denture specialist) with full access to the treatment area at the back. At no point was I informed that he was unlicensed or otherwise not permitted to provide dental care. He gave medical advice, adjusted my dentures in my mouth, and nearly bruised the roof of my mouth pressing his thumb into it trying to obtain suction from a laughable set of dentures. Before my surgery, Rendon misrepresented his abilities to convince me to proceed. He assured me the results would match my original teeth, and when I expressed regret afterward, he admitted he had said this only to make me feel better. He gaslit me every appointment stating it was the fault of my anatomy and not his inability. He also spoke down to me and to me about other patients, made uncomfortable comments, and laughed at me inappropriately. He ultimately abandoned care when he could not produce functional dentures, leaving me with options of “implants or nothing.” The dentures never achieved proper fit, suction, or function, and the final appearance was unacceptable. Nearly 15 months later, I am still dealing with the consequences, and no accountability or meaningful assistance has been provided. Because of him and Dr. Gent my insurance was used yet patient care was never followed through. In my opinion, dentists and patients should exercise extreme caution. Based on my experience, this practice appears to disregard patient safety, honesty, and professional standards.
