My son and daughter had their wisdom teeth removed at the Facial Surgery Institute. My daughter's situation was a bit more complicated, but both Dr. Farbod and Mary were very thorough and reassuring when explaining the details. They were positive, kind and made sure we felt comfortable with the pre and post-op plan. They called to check on her the next day, which was appreciated! The office staff happily answered any questions and encouraged an open line of communication. The entire crew does a great job - thank you FSI!
First of all, Dr. Farbod has a kind personality, very friendly. Dr. Farbod took great care in our daughter's teeth extractions. One tooth had grown into her nerve, the other was a baby tooth that did not fall out on it's own. The extractions went smoothly and our daughter had a quick recovery. The receptionists, nurses and assistants were very professional, friendly and comforting. Dr Farbod did a great job. We have two older children that had their wisdom teeth removed by Farbod and their dad had an implant at Facial Surgery Institute which we are soooooo happy with the out come. We want to be able to eat as we age. =) Thank you Facial Surgery Institute.

A year and a half ago I received a referral from my Marquette dentist. I have since called the doctor's office six times, & my dentist has called on my behalf as well. Every time I talk to someone at the office, they tell me they will call me tomorrow. It's been a year and a half. You will never see me as a patient of the good Dr. Frank Farbod 'cause I can't get through the front desk. Please destroy all of my medical information my dentist & I sent to the FSI office. ~ S.F. I had all 4 wisdom teeth removed yesterday for just a $20 copay with medicaid and I already feel great. A few hours after the surgery was the worst part but now I feel fantastic. I feel no discomfort on my upper jaw and like no hole just a small slit my bottom jaw hurts but my teeth were in my nerve so it's to be expected I was even warned I might feel slight numbness on the corner of my mouth permanently but he did so well I can feel just fine. I found his speed, confidence, and concise explanation chipper and helpful in keeping up my mood. I've met a lot of health care professionals and felt less than or belittled but he made me feel very confident in myself too all the reviews saying that he was rude must have came in with a bad attitude that he could smell he's very good at what he does and just wants to assure you you'll be safe. For those who said he recommends unnecessary measures for repairs or cosmetic procedures I have no experience with that but if your dentist says you need something done he will do it well. And be hon's with you
