Powered by GoogleMy husband and I are long time clients of FH Dental. They have a great location in Boston with easy access parking nearby. They have flexible appointment scheduling, a very modern space and the staff is super friendly. My hygienist, Victoria is amazing! She is personable, thorough and has great attention to detail. We now have our school age kids coming to FH Dental. Dr Kahveci and his staff take great care with young patients who may be anxious and nervous about being at the dentist. We highly recommend Dr. K and his practice!
Both my daughter and I are seen here and have had a good experience. They are great with kids, and don’t push procedures on to her if she isn’t willing which is something I value as a parent. For me I like the quick efficiency of the practice, ease of scheduling, and the kindness of the staff.
I’m sharing my experience so others can make an informed decision. I went to this office on Jan 6 for one purpose: restorative work (placing a permanent filling after a root canal). No cleaning was performed, no X-rays were taken, and I was not given what most patients would understand as a comprehensive exam. The dentist did a brief visual look at the tooth/root-canal area and discussed that the tooth had cracks and may need a 3/4 crown. That was the extent of the “exam” component during my visit. After insurance processed the claim, I discovered the office billed my insurance for a Comprehensive Oral Exam ($139). When I questioned it, they later said it was actually a limited, problem-focused exam, and also stated: “The fee for a limited oral exam is the same as the comprehensive exam ($139).” They said they would contact my insurer to change the code. My biggest concern is not whether I personally owed $139 that day, it’s that billing an exam I did not receive, and only re-labeling it after I challenged it, can impact future coverage (for example, how often insurance will cover an exam/cleaning in a plan year). Patients shouldn’t have to worry that a brief visual check could be billed in a way that potentially uses up their covered exam. The office did issue a refund for the overpayment on the restorative work after insurance paid, but I strongly recommend that anyone going here: reviews their EOB carefully, and asks in advance exactly what will be billed, what codes will be submitted, and whether full payment will be required before insurance is processed. TL;DR is I would not recommend anyone going here despite their reviews with the lack of problem solving, team communication, patient communication, and billing codes for the other actions stated above.
Fanueil Hall Dental is not like any Dentist office. I’ve been a client for 30+ years. I have been treated with respect, felt important and feel like each employee is part of a family business. There is consistency of personnel and everyone respects your schedule and works together. If you’re looking for a new Dental Practice in Boston. Look no further, call Faneuil Hall Dental.
I have been going to Dr. Kahveci's Faneuil Hall Dental practice for over 20 years. I have had a number of fillings and other dental work done and they have done an excellent job each time. The equipment is state of the art and the office is impeccably clean. Dr. K has a very gentle hand and you basically don't feel anything during the procedures. He is also an extremely nice person and he remembers every patient's name and makes a point to speak with them personally each time. Highly recommended dental practice.
