I was visiting from out of town. They got me in on short notice and took care of my dental crown problem. Excellent service from check in to check out. Dr Jarvis was great.
Bad experience. It seems there is a new dentist there. Walking in the three receptionists seemed pretty stressed and weren’t at all friendly. Met the dentist who confirmed my tooth needed to be removed so we discussed replacement options and I decided on an implant which would require a bone graft. The tooth was pulled, he stated no bone graft today and left the room. I left the office and the gum wouldn’t stop bleeding so I went back. It was bleeding so much I was choking and gagging on it. Turns out he hadn’t bothered to read my health and medication list to know I was on blood thinners. I hadn’t been given any instructions and it wasn’t stitched. The dentist seemed more interested in his assistant than his patients. All in all the worse dental appt ever.
My husband and I both have LOVED having Dr. Fisher as our dentist. He is knowledgeable, caring and genuine. He has gone above and beyond to assist us with our dental challenges and we would recommend him again and again. Unfortunately, the time has come for him to move towards retirement and he has recently sold his practice to his neighbor's, Today's Dentistry. I have been seen by them a couple of times and just recently got a dental cleaning. The cleaning was so unprofessional, I felt like it was a waste of time. The hygienist did not know how to operate the panoramic x-ray equipment and I had to undergo an additional time after she got some help from other people in the office. She barely looked at my teeth - I do take good care of my teeth, but still expected some scrapping and cleaning would be necessary. She asked whether or not I "wanted her to floss my teeth". Isn't that part of the whole cleaning package?? The polishing took about 45 seconds - no exaggeration. As Dr. Fisher moves away from practicing full-time and Today's Dentistry, with THEIR staff, take over the majority of the dental care, I cannot in good conscience recommend them. I will not be returning for any further treatment or care. Thank you Dr. Fisher for several years of excellent, five-star dental care. Today's Dentistry doesn't even warrant one-star....
The dental team is caring and listens to your needs. I just moved here 7 months ago and generally am leary of going to a new dentist. I am thankful to find this office in Nampa. They are gentle, and thorough. It's tough to find a great dentist on the first try but, I did! Highly recommend!
I had a female dentist and she was a great communicator and very reassuring. The dental tech that cleaned my teeth is always supportive and does an outstanding job. I would highly recommend this dentist office.
