If you are looking for a new dentist or you may be one of Dr. Hulsey's former patients, rest assured you will receive the best care at Five Points Family Dental. I have received amazing treatment from the ladies there. Kathy will help you set up an appt. and Brandy and Dr. Nelms will provide your dental treatment in the most efficient,.affordable manner possible. They take extreme measures to make you comfortable during your visit. The dental hygienists are also very professional and compassionate. I have had many visits this past year and I have a mouth full of beautiful teeth to show for it. They have gone to extremes to make sure I have had the best treatment and outcomes possible. So, I know what I am talking about! I also drive from Dahlonega to Five Points for every appt. I could go to a local dentist, but I don"t want to trust my teeth to any other dentist So, make an appt soon to see what they can do for you. Billie Varnum-Gallant
I’ve gone to Five Points Family Dental since Dr. Nelms took over. It’s been a great experience and they are very thorough. Dr Nelms also seems to bring some newer techniques and technology than my prior dental office had available. I would recommend based on my experience.
Dr. Nelms is an excellent dentist! Upon moving into the area recently, my husband & I received a recommendation to see her. I discovered at my first checkup with her just how attentive to detail and conscientious she is. She advised some additional dental work (from a couple of unattended issues prior with my teeth) and I couldn’t have been happier with her level of professionalism in righting my concerns. I feel so good about the current state of my dental health, plus her entire office staff is pleasant and fun to be around. It is evident everyone enjoys working there, so she’s created a great culture and is also well connected in Athens, as she even gave me references to other services that came up in a conversation re: being a newcomer to the area. I would confidently recommend Dr. Nelms to anyone and if you don’t take my advice, you’re truly missing out!
Always a treat to visit with Kristy, "new Kathy" and Dr. Nelms! You all have been very helpful to work around all my other appointments! No problem with gall bladder surgery, not happening unless something changes, happy to say!
I have had the best dental experience out of any other practice here. I love the staff and they’re super welcoming, laid-back and treat you like family. Dr. Nelms has been an amazing addition as Dr. Hulsey retired, and they’ve always been very open and honest with me about my dental health since becoming a patient. I have terrible dental anxiety and it’s been great overall, with feeling at ease and knowing I’m in great hands. They are absolute perfectionists and I’m not mad about it. The treatments I’ve had were lengthy but it’s been worth every minute in having a thorough staff with Grade-A work completed. Scheduling has not been difficult either as they are always willing to work with you on what works best for your schedule. I will be referring the rest of my family as well and it’s a relief to find a dentist and practice I trust.
