I had a follow up cleaning today with Navin. After many years at Grove Dental, I told him that I feel that I have moved up significantly in my dental care, since moving to Glenbard Family Dental. They are professional, SO knowledgeable, educate me with every appointment, and have a detailed plan for my health care going forward. As well, their use of technology to show me exactly where my dental health is, and the progress we are making, is so helpful. The difference between my old corporate dental practice and this family owned practice has been amazing.

I’ve always had a lot of anxiety about going to the dentist, but Dr. Sweeney and his team have completely changed that experience for me. From the moment I sat down, he was calm, reassuring, and never rushed. He explains every step, checks in often, and makes sure I’m comfortable. What really stands out is how thoroughly he lays out all treatment options—what’s urgent, what can wait, what’s purely elective—and he never pushes or tries to upsell. The decision is always mine, and I feel genuinely respected. The office staff is kind and efficient, scheduling is easy, and the atmosphere is low-stress (huge for anxious patients like me). I finally feel like I have a dentist I can trust. Highly recommend Dr. Sweeney, especially if you’ve avoided the dentist out of fear.
