I had high hopes to get my teeth pulled and get some dentures that were affordable, but those hopes were dashed when the cost to pull about half my teeth and get dentures exceeded $29,000. Think about that and let it sink in. Fortunately, I found affordable service at another legitimate company for around $6,000 in Nashville. With that said, the people that I did talk to were most hospitable and kind. The office facilities were first rate and clean. Unfortunately, the dentist never came and talked to me. You would think if you’re going to charge people 2.5 years of their mortgage payments or half the cost of a new 4X4 Ford pickup, you would at least have the nerve to look them in the eye when you tell them.
The staff goes out of their way to make you feel comfortable. They’re friendly, personable, and knowledgeable, and offer the most current and state-of-the art treatment in general and implant dentistry in a lovely facility.
I searched and found this dentistry online and read reviews. I am pretty anxious when it comes to dental care and needed some serious work as soon as possible. I called to get an appointment without a referral of any kind.(which is out of my comfort zone)! They made me an appointment the day after my call. The place is easy to find and absolutely beautiful, and clean! Upon our arrival I was greeted with a smile and very comfortable and friendly assistance! The dental physician and employees were all so professional and comforting. After the consult, They made it possible to have my dental surgical procedure that same day and get my needs done as soon as possible. Dr. Chitwood said a sweet and powerful prayer for them and myself prior to surgery with his hand on my shoulder,. Everything was explained prior to and/or during the procedure.i have never been treated so well at any medical facility, and I have been to several in my life time. Every single person was helpful, professional, and sweet to me and my husband including Joey, Sara, and many others, too many to mention all names. There were 5 different people who wheeled me out to our SUV after my discharge including both Dr Shank and Dr Chitwood. Dr Shank even helped me in to my seat and buckled my seat belt. He then said a very sweet prayer over me! My husband and I were told multiple times to call with any questions, concerns, and/or needs. I highly recommend this Golden Oak sedation dentistry for anyone with dental needs! You will not be sorry! I give them 100/10!
Dr. Shanks and his staff are incredibly patient and so kind. If you are anything like me and going to the dentist gives you anxiety please go see them at Northside Family Dentistry/Golden Oak sedation and implant center you won’t regret it. The quality of care and the amazing work they do is top notch, you can’t find any better. Azah is so patient and kind. It makes me happy when I know she is going to be the dental assistant, because I know her attention to detail is outstanding. She makes me feel at ease and understands what I am trying to say.
Absolutely incredible! First, the oral surgery went amazingly well performed by Dr. Shanks. I had little to no pain afterwards, and healed quickly. Ronnie is a Rock Star & true pro when it comes to installing the implants, and answering my questions. I could not be more pleased with the results so far, as well as with the overall experience! Fantastic team all around.
