Bringing a child here for braces. The staff seems pleasant and competent, but they must be very understaffed. Typical message from the provider is "come back in 12 weeks" but they don't have schedule availability for less than 19 weeks out, so you'll have to wait an extra 1.5 months for scheduled care. Also, all of the major orthodontics appointments are in La Crosse, not Winona. Wish I could switch to some other ortho provider.
This Urgent Care was absolutely fantastic. They were waiting to take me back before I was even finished at the front desk, the nurses were lovely and helpful and calming, my Doctor listened, walked me through a ton of options and gave me fantastic advice and made a treatment plan that was exactly what I was expecting and hopeful to hear. The clinic is clean, well staffed and polite. I was in and out in less than 40 minutes which even included having blood work drawn. I received a follow-up call about my prescription status and when my blood work might be done all within 20 minutes of leaving. If they stay this way, there is absolutely nowhere else I would bother going!
I had oral surgery to get my wisdom teeth removed on September 3rd 2021 and my experience was great. Dr. Deepa did a great job and I would recommend her to anyone that needed their wisdom teeth taken out. She and the ladies that prepped me for surgery were very friendly and helpful and made my experience very good. Waiting time was short and staff were very helpful.
Went there for a covid test. They charged $313 for the test that you can buy anywhere for a few dollars. Waited for an hour to be seen. Doctor took 5 minutes to look me over and charged about $300 so a five minute visit cost more $600. REALLY!!! I've been charged $65 at Winona Urgent Care for a much more extensive exam.
I had a complete extraction done today. Except they left two wisdom teeth and the one in front of each wisdom tooth on the top. I ain't crazy and it's not in my head. Completely devastated.
