My Husband and 2.5 year old went for their appointments that were supposed to be set back to back (something I was very specific about because this was the first time the toddler would of really had anything besides a looking at done). Instead they separated them, did them at the same time and had our 14 year old hold the 2.5 year old. That worked as well as you can imagine and even though he was supposed to actually clean the toddlers teeth Dr.Harder literally did NOTHING to them. Instead he asked my 14year old, instead of the father, a couple questions about our son’s teeth and then sent them on their way. Once my husband got to the front to pay they fully expected him to pay for the visit with the son! Completely unacceptable! My husband’s visit was to get some cavities dealt with which he did but when he saw his orthodontist a month later he asked how they looked and she said he didn’t do a great job with them so he will have to go to another dentist and pay to have them corrected. Dr. Harder seemed like a nice guy when we first met him but when you pay for a job and miss work to get something done I expect it to be done correctly and not have to pay for the same job twice. Do not recommend!
If I could give a half star or just the tip I would. My daughter got her tooth pulled without being all the way num first. And when she was screaming they would not stop. My daughter is shaking and so scared of this place. And trying to get her papers to move to another dentist is hard as heck I signed the paper but they still won't hand it over or send it to the other dentist. Will not be back again.
Recently had some fillings done on my front teeth here and thanks to Dr. Courtney I can smile confidently again! I thought my front teeth were doomed but she was able to make them look beautiful and natural again. Since I was a child I have had an irrational fear of the dentist, but she and the dental assistants made sure I was comfortable through the whole process, even taking the time to give me extra numbing and waiting for it to take effect. I can't recommend Hannibal Dental Group enough!
Lovely environment! Staff were super friendly and Dr. Courtney Matchett was super sweet, made me feel comfortable, and she listened about my concerns. She was quick to provide solutions. I have now found my favorite dentist! 10/10 recommend!
Had a horrible toothache about a month ago. I don’t go to the dentist like I should due to affordability. I called and they got me in in 2 days. Dr Harder came in after looking at X-rays and said he thought filing down a tooth would help and then attempted to leave. I asked if he saw anything on the X-rays and he replied yes and abcess and another cavity. Bewildered I asked well can we do anything? He said if you want!?! He was trying to get out of the room before I asked. Feeling very unimportant I left. I told his assistant that the pain was going into my eye and sinus. She replied “you would be surprised it this doesn’t help”. An abscess tooth needs antibiotics to say the least. Untreated it can cause serious problems. I called another dentist and was treated with Clindamycin, a shot of rocephin and had that tooth extracted! It also was in my sinuses. For a month I have suffered and just got taken care of today. I also have to go to an oral surgeon in a week for another extraction. I can’t tell you how I felt leaving that day! My mother worked for his dad when I was a kid and I know he wouldn’t have treated anyone like this. I do hear good about Dr Rucker and others. But this is totally unacceptable.
