Dr. Hasegawa is wonderful! I’m deathly afraid of dental work and going to an oral surgeon for an extraction made me very nervous. I shared my fears with him and his staff and they were great. Patient, calming and caring. He knows his stuff and he cares. Great skills!
One of my teeth cracked and had to be removed. I had seen Dr Hasegawa eleven years ago, and thankfully I was still in their system. The earliest that I could get in was a sit and wait appointment. I really did not have to wait at all as I was called in right after I completed my paperwork. Dr Hasegawa and his staff were very friendly and reassuring. My tooth was removed quickly and without pain. I also really appreciated the follow up call from Dr Hasegawa later in the afternoon..
My son was referred to Dr. Hasegawa because of an infected tooth that needed to removed ASAP. We were able to get in on the same day. My son (age 5) has had a bit of a traumatic experience at dentists office before and he was scared. Dr. Hasegawa was kind, yet firm. Instead of treating him like a toddler he gave Kai choices and told him the benefits of behaving versus the consequences of not behaving. As a parent, I felt this was very valuable in involving the child and inviting them to make decisions for themselves. The extraction went smoothly and when my son asked if he could keep the tooth for the Tooth Fairy, Dr. Hasegawa obliged. I was really surprised to see a dollar bill folded beautifully into the bag holding the tooth. Thank you for a very positive experience Dr. Hasegawa and staff!
Absolutely love this surgeon! I have extremely HIGH anxiety and zero tolerance for dental pain. Dr and assistant made sure I was made to feel comfortable and less apprehensive than I usually do. Dr was so gentle, I did not even feel the shots!!! Highly recommend Dr and staff. Thank you all so very much!!
I was a german visitor of the wonderful island of Maui. At the arrival day my tooth ache started. I had a call with my german dentist, who thought, coming home to Germany was not possible because of the long flight. So the reception of the Wailea Hotel helped us to find a dentist. Dr. Earl Hasegawa was the only one of 10 doctors who had time for an emergency treatment. And it was a very brillant treatment.
