Powered by GoogleI am so grateful both of my daughters were fortunate to have Dr. Cavaretta as their surgeon to remove all their wisdom teeth. He is the absolute best and we recommend Hill Country Oral Surgery to everyone! My yougest daughter recovered as quickly as her sister and raved about how smooth and painless the experience was overall. Our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Cavaretta, Lizeth, Ally, George and Krystal for their exceptional care and expertise!
Great experience! Would highly recommend! Both of my daughters were in for wisdom tooth removal, one went perfectly the other not as smoothly but they were extremely attentive even seeing her during an ice storm to resolve the issue. The diamonds are found when things don’t go as planned, in how they respond and support and this team went above and beyond.
Excellent Provider, from the front desk staff through the Surgeon and assistants. One of the best experiences I’ve had with any Dental office. Dr Cavaretta was my surgeon for a wisdom tooth extraction and his work was perfect, attentive and comfortable. I highly recommend and will only go to them for my family’s future procedures.
I brought my 17-year-old daughter in for a wisdom tooth consultation, referred by her dentist. We’ve actually used this clinic before — they removed my son’s wisdom teeth with no problems — so I expected the same level of care. Instead, we were told immediately that my daughter had to get a CT scan, even though her dentist’s full X-rays had already been sent over. The CT scan was, of course, not covered by insurance. When I asked why it was required, the staff member attempted an explanation about the tooth and root but then said: “I can’t really tell you — I’m not the doctor.” So I asked the obvious question: “Can we speak with the doctor before committing to this?” Her response was shocking: “The doctor will not see you until you get this done.” To be clear: what medical professional refuses to even consult with a patient until after they’ve paid for an additional procedure? This goes directly against basic medical ethics and informed consent. A doctor should review the existing X-rays, meet the patient, and explain why further imaging is necessary before requiring an out-of-pocket test. Instead, we were put in a “pay first, talk later” situation that felt more like a billing tactic than patient care. We walked out without proceeding, and I left extremely disappointed — and honestly concerned for other families who might feel pressured into unnecessary imaging without ever speaking to the doctor. I can no longer recommend this practice.
I had a cracked tooth which needed to be pulled and while knocked out - I might as well get my adjacent wisdom tooth pulled too! A little nervous but Dr. Amir Tadros with Hill Country Oral Surgery totally made me feel comfortable and set me up with a surgery that same week! The overall process was super and I highly recommend Dr. Tadros!
