I am sorry to say anything negative about this practice as I have always liked Dr. Holden and all his staff tremendously and been, overall, satisfied with service there but I must say there is (to a consumer especially) an area that has now become fairly consistently very poor quality: billing services. WIthout your needing to necessarily read through the details of my own experiences described below I feel compelled to strongly suggest to current and future patients that you really need to be highly vigilant with regard to this aspect of their practice. This includes things such as timings of pre-authorization relative to when a procedure is done, submission of bills to insurance and reimbursement. All of this is especially important because so many of the procedures done there are very costly! On at least two occasions I have been given inaccurate information related to some of the things listed above. Most recently this has related to a periodontal flap procedure which cost over $1,000. In one exchange one of the women at the front desk informed me that the procedure I just had wasn't covered (despite the fact I knew that it was).It seems they had not received a pre-authorization yet, however, because they hadn't submitted one to my insurance company! I had to request that they do it on the spot.... But the confusion has now spilled over into payment by my insurance company/reimbursement to me.I am still waiting for response to a phone message I made last week. This is all made worse by the fact that the woman who actually does the billing sits in the back and is also not in the office at all times. To me, however, this should not be an excuse for them not providing accurate information to patients. If this woman is not there at all times or they do not have access to the billing information then I feel it is the responsibility of the people at the front desk to tell you that they do not know or be SURE that any information they are giving to patients is ACCURATE.
Had a bad tooth taken out yesterday at 11 A.M. Worst part was getting the shots to numb my mouth. Did NOT feel anything when removing tooth. As of now 7:30 A.M. next day still very little pain or swelling. Been using this great practice for years. Big thank you to dr holden and entire great staff from front desk all the way through his practice.
Friendly people and atmosphere all around, and informative about the cost before implant was done, it was not as much as I actually expected. It was nice to have the option to be sedated. Dr. Holden was compassionate and addressed all of my concerns. Also, my general dentist said that my implant result was excellent.
Dr. Holden is very professional and great at what he does. I had my wisdom teeth extracted and it only took 30 minutes without sedation. The surgery was easy and the staff did a great job at making sure I was comfortable 😊
Dr Holden and his staff were very professional and helpful. I had my wisdom teeth removed and a dental implant placed. I was nervous for the procedure but Dr Holden made me feel comfortable and I highly recommend him.
