On Feb. 24th I had my consultation with Dr. Moya to get 3 wisdom teeth extractions. During the consultation, he made me feel completely at ease; his expertise and personable approach made me feel confident that I made a wise decision to come to Houston Oral Surgery Associates. I scheduled to get my surgical treatment done on March 2nd and from the moment I checked in—I was well taken care of throughout the entire process. My surgery went extremely well, and his postoperative instructions and plans are thorough and easy to follow. Dr. Moya and his staff are wonderful to interact with. Great experience in every single aspect!
I want to thank Dr. Moya and his staff for their incredible work! I went in for my wisdom teeth extraction feeling extremely nervous, but the entire staff was so kind and reassuring and really helped calm my nerves and worries. They took the time to explain everything clearly and gave me very helpful instructions and tips for recovery. Thanks to the amazing care and guidance from the staff, my recovery was super easy and smooth. I would absolutely recommend Houston Oral Surgery Associates to everyone for the amazing work they do and the excellent care they provide!
I couldn’t not write this review; I’m genuinely pleased with the care I received at Houston Oral Surgery Associates (HOSA) on San Felipe. I was referred to this office by my dentist and was able to have both my consultation and surgery within the same week, which I truly appreciated since I was in significant pain. Dr. Maida was very thorough when explaining my options and made sure I understood every step. I had an immediate implant done under general anesthesia and was comfortable throughout the entire procedure. What really stood out was the follow-up. Dr. Maida personally called me the same day after my surgery to check in. As a registered nurse with ICU and OR experience, I know that level of personal follow-up is rare and typically delegated to other clinical staff, so it meant a lot. His bedside manner is excellent, and felt he genuinely listened to my concerns. The staff were also incredibly kind and attentive, making the whole experience smooth and reassuring. I’m looking forward to my future follow ups. Overall, I’m very happy with the care I received and would absolutely recommend this office to anyone in need of oral surgery.
Excellent work! I broke a front tooth clean in half and needed to go the implant route to fix my smile. I was actually referred to Dr Moya by the emergency dentist. Dr Moya has been informative, kind, and professional during all my appointments, making sure I had information on all options. The pre-extraction instructions had all the information I needed. I was super anxious on the day of the extraction but I read through the books of thank you cards in the waiting room and seeing how he had helped so many others made me feel a lot more comfortable. Waking up from the twilight sedation was a little rough, but the staff handled me both professionally and gently. Would totally recommend if someone needed an extraction or other work.
We had an excellent experience with Dr. Maida and the entire team at HOSA! My child needed a tooth removed, our dentist initially referred us to a pediatric oral surgeon for a consultation however I chose Houston Oral Surgery Associates for the procedure as I had previously had my wisdom teeth extracted here as well and had the BEST experience. Dr. Maida and his team were caring, gentle, and incredibly patient with my child. He had a lot of questions about the procedure. I highly recommend Dr. Maida and his team!
