Dr. Lars Bouma of Implant & Prosthodontic Associates in OKC was originally recommended to me by another dentist. This turned out to be excellent advice. After several years under his care, I am pleased to report that I found Dr. Bouma to be a personable, highly talented, conscientious prosthodontist with meticulous attention to cosmetic perfection. Not only did he do a superb job on multiple front crowns, but he was readily available for an emergency when this was needed much later in time. I also use his office for routine preventive care and cleanings and have been consistently pleased with the services provided. I feel most fortunate to be a patient under his care and give him my highest recommendation.

Tell you about my experience. Well my experience started when I was very young my grandmother took me to her dentist and at that time they were using nitrous oxide to ease the pain and the anxiety. Unfortunately this particular dentist used a little bit too much for my young body and I was seeing monsters while he was trying to work on me so needless to say I was fighting him and fighting the nurse and not doing well at all. My grandmother was very embarrassed promise she would never take me to a dentist again. I saw various dentists after that, not very many really. Most were not that good and then I went into the military. At that time we were fighting in Vietnam and so they didn't have time to take a lot of care as far as Dentistry was concerned, so it was either pull the teeth out or go ahead and do it as quickly as possible and at that time they were using Novocaine. They didn't use Topicals to numb the shots because they felt it was taking too much time so consequently I was developing a fear of needles and being hurt and was not happy to see the dentist. I remember going to the dentist for cleaning and telling this young Navy person to please try to be gentle because I did not like dentists and I didn't like being hurt. He said never mind we'll get it done quickly and he went ahead and did his cleaning and it hurt me and so I told him I wouldn't be back he said yes you will you're in the military. But no, I didn't because I kept my records and did not turn them back in so I did not see the military dentist after that until one day when I broke off a tooth working on an airplane and needed to have it extracted. At that time there was a an Air Force dentist on base. He used the topical to numb the shots before using Novocaine and made sure it was very numb and I did not feel anything. He went in with a pair of forceps I think they were, and said he was going to just wiggle the tooth to make sure it was ready to be pulled and not to worry so I said okay so he went in and wiggled and said I'll come back in a few minutes when your numb and then we'll go ahead and see about pullingthetooth. He came back in about 10 minutes and he said are you ready and I said yes and I gripped the chair tightly. He said okay we'll see you later and I said what about the tooth and he said I already pulled it. He had pulled it during the wiggling time. I have seen Dr. Roberta Wright over the past year and she is just an outstanding dentist. She cares about her patients, she takes time to explain everything that she's doing, she's very gentle and she has a good singing voice. We usually play the 60s when I'm there and she seems to know every song. She is very disappointed that the dentists in the past have treated me the way they have and she knows exactly what's going on. She's always been very sympathetic and understanding. Needless to say her best traits, other than being an outstanding dentist. I wish I had had her about 35 or 40 years ago. We're still working on my teeth trying to get him back to where they are usable and where I want them to be and unfortunately money has held up the process as it always does. We are progressing slowly but I'm sure that we're going to reach that point of perfection in a not too distant future. Thank you again Dr Wright for being you. Sincerely Drew Pitcher

I've seen lots of providers for my complicated case, but these people are the most wonderful! They take amazing care of me every time I'm there. I feel like I'm in the best hands possible when I'm here, and everyone is friendly on the staff from the office to the chair. I can't recommend them enough! Wonderful people doing amazing work

I was referred here by my dentist. Dr. Roberta Wright is AMAZING! Her staff is as well. She was very thorough with her exam and explained everything so I could understand. Very compassionate group. I have EXTREME anxiety with dental work. They made my stay enjoyable and I didn't want to leave. I wish more doctors had her bedside manner.
