Fantastic program! I definitely recommend it to anyone looking to get into implant placement. I feel like it would also be helpful for those with more experience, but I had never placed an implant and now feel comfortable incorporating implant placement into practice. I learned so much during the program, and I truly think this was the best CE I've ever done. If you're on the fence about whether or not to go to the program, then I hope my review helps you take the leap to go. You'll be glad you did!
The DTI course in the Dominican Republic is astounding! I attended the October 2019 session and was very pleased with how everything came together. Before that, I had never placed an implant, but during the four surgical days in the DR I placed 19! By the end of the week, I felt confident in my abilities to place any single unit implant, immediate placement, multiple units at one time, and even multiple units to support/retain dentures. My first patient I wound up placing three implants, one of which required a sinus bump. Overall, this course was wonderful for my clinical skills. The resort was nice, safe, and accommodated all of our needs. I'd love to take this course again to gain deeper understanding of complex cases.
The Dominican Training Institute and Dr Leo Malin and staff put on an awesome live hands on patients implant course. The training allows one to increase their implant skills by offering different levels of degrees of difficulty of implant cases from simple to multiple implants, cases with a lot of bone or minimal bone where you have to do sinus lifts and bone grafts or large bone grafts. No matter if you are new to implants or have done a number of them, you will learn how to handle many different situations and you will be confident in going back to your clinics having confidence in being able to treat your patients with successful implants.
This is the bar none the best implant course out there. Leo is the most knowledgeable mentor I have ever had. He has a gift to teach an efficient course with millions of gold nuggets you will not want to miss. You will definitely feel comfortable placing implants and prepared to tackle any unexpected outcomes. His team is also amazing! This course will help you bring your practice to the next level!
