The entire staff at Iowa Oral are great and really treat you as a person rather than a patient. The admin team will call your insurance on their own to get you a quote for out of pocket expenses and provide detailed billing so that it’s not a secret what you are paying for. Dr. Jirsa and the nursing staff were kind and thoughtful throughout the process and it didn’t feel like you were being rushed in or out but that they really wanted to take the time to explain the process and answer any questions. I will recommend them to anyone looking to get oral surgery! They performed my wisdom teeth extraction flawlessly and I have no complaints!
They knocked it out of the ballpark!! I was already stressed trying to keep my kid calm because all 4 wisdom teeth need removed. They made sure to do everything possible to keep him comfortable and ensure I stayed up to date through the procedure. Even the IV area was numbed for comfort. The discharge was smooth with perfectly written instructions so we knew what to do next. Even the medication scripted afterwards to make sure your comfortable at home is very helpful. The staff was kind and not in a hurry to dismiss any questions I had. MOST impressive was a call from the wonderful surgeon that night after the procedure to see how my kid was doing. This is actually our 2nd procedure as a family here and both went very smoothly. Would never hesitate to use them.
100/5 STARS! I went in for a tooth removal and was absolutely petrified. From the moment I walked in and spoke with the lady at the front desk, it was the start of a perfect experience! My nurses, Chloe and Hailey, were so sweet and helpful, and Dr. Richman went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and the entire procedure went off without a hitch! Even the woman who handled payment was wonderful. This entire office is filled with such kind, caring people who truly want to help. Thank you so much, everyone!
I had an implant today. It was a great experience! The team was very kind and communicated well about the procedure and continued to update me all along the way. You could tell the nurses and Dr Jirsa loved their work and enjoy people. I never felt any pain even after the surgery. I think if all dental experiences were like this people in this industry would be very popular!
Very positive experience from the front desk to the procedure itself. Dr.Richman listened to my concerns and trusted I know my own body. His "chair" side manner was so warm, with a wonderful sense of humor. I highly recommend this practice.
