Was given a permanent crown that lasted a staggering 2 weeks. Additionally, Jen was frustrated and rude with me when I told her the crown was uncomfortable and I couldn’t fully close my jaw.
Had a great experience getting a filling done. Didn’t feel the numbing injection, tooth feels and looks good.
Went here when our son was 8 weeks old for a frenectomy consultation. All seemed well at first, hygienists were lovely. As first time parents, we were obviously concerned, and when Dr. Jen came in, she immediately bombarded us with questions - no empathy or emotion in her voice. Her evaluation of my son felt like a performance. Among the questions she asked was, “Does he ever fall asleep while eating?” I thought that odd since most babies do, occasionally. I replied, “Yes,” and she clicked her tongue and said it was a CLASSIC sign of a tongue tie. Every normal baby thing he did was an apparent tongue tie association. She stuck her fingers in his mouth to assess the tie and claimed his protest was further proof. Umm, hello? Who wants some stranger’s fingers shoved down their throat??? She told us that while he was gaining weight for now, eventually he wouldn’t be able to eat enough well enough and would become dehydrated and start losing weight. I’ll admit, I came in to the appointment skeptical - I’d done my research. She explained all these things to us as if we were simpletons and had never looked up what a tongue tie was. Her condescending tone really made me trust her, of course. Near the end of the consultation, which lasted a grand 5 minutes, perhaps, she had diagnosed my son with lip, cheek, and tongue ties and recommended, of course, that we get them lasered for a mere $900. She just so happens to have the equipment at her office. Luckily, the machine was down that day or she’d have pressured us to do it right then. When she explained the possible complications to us, I mentioned that, yes, those did concern me as I had done my research, and I could tell in her eyes she knew she’d lost a customer. Heads up, assuming your clients are idiots isn’t going to get you far. Worst experience I have EVER had with a “doctor.” I will never forget the way we were treated here, and if I could give zero stars, absolutely I would. Also, my son is simply CRUSHING his motor milestones and weight gain. The fear mongering show this woman put up is disgraceful.
Called before scheduling to make sure they accepted my insurance, which I was told they did. After the appointment (which consisted of brushing a 2 year olds teeth) I was informed they in fact weren’t in network with our insurance. Despite their employee giving me the wrong information, I was stuck with a large bill. Plenty of more competent dentist offices in the area.
