I could not have been more pleased with my experience with Dr. Fontana during my tooth extraction and dental implant. First, he was vey emotionally supportive, kind and considerate of my situation. He answered my many questions that I asked throughout the experience. My tooth broke off so it took him another 20 minutes to get the rest out. He did it with considerable patience and expertise. I was so impressed with his work! I will add that his assistant was wonderful as well and the staff person at the front desk is so nice and fun to talk with.
Dr. Fontana is a very good Periodontist but I am very unhappy that his office doesn't accept my insurance and I have to pay out of network costs. I have a very good dental plan and pay a very high amount monthly. He just doesn't want to come down on his costs and accept many insurance plans. He's very good and he knows it. If you want something done by him, you're going to have to pay for it. Not very happy!!!
Very nice staff, and I had a very short wait once I checked in. Dr. Fontana was very helpful with my initial evaluation. Kristin did my deep cleaning and scaling and made an unpleasant procedure a little easier for me. I highly recommend them to others!
Had to rate something this is bad. If your looking for a therapist who over charges this is a great place. But to have your mouth fixed. NO!!! Hundreds of dollars they charged for sitting there. While he talked to me. This is ridiculous!!!!!
Dr Fontana is warm and considerate and COMPETENT. I have been to MANY dentists and Dr Fontana is excellent. I had an implant with a bone graft done, and I had no pain He kept checking that I was okay, and he and his assistant worked effectively together. +*+*+*+*+*+*+ UPDATE Had SECOND Implant done - also needing a bone graft and also without pain. Dr Fontana is getting even better - if I need another, no question where I will go.
