First appointment…impressed. Office ambiance nice, staff professional and very knowledgeable. Had no issues scheduling an appointment as a new patient. My issue was treated with a sense of urgency. Madison and Dr. Johnston were wonderful to talk to when explaining the reason for my visit. After an examination and thoroughly reviewing the X-rays, they expeditiously contacted a specialist to schedule an appointment for a second opinion for the next steps to treat my issue.
Dr Shawn Murphy has the best chair side manners! He tries so hard, as well as all the dental staff there, to make you feel comfortable when tasked with what can be a painful experience. They explain all procedures, assist with knowledge of the costs up front, and are accommodating with scheduling and payment plans if needed. I like that they are honest on what the insurance may or may not pay and what is expected of you. I highly recommend Johnston and Murphy Dental Care!
My February dentist appointment was amazing. I went with a great deal of apprehension and a little fear. I’d never had a filling in all my 58.8 years of my life. So it was a little confusing to me. Conversely, from the moment I walked in, the reception was quite calming and inviting. Additionally, I was expecting a little wait time. That wasn’t the case. After checking in as I turned to have a seat. Someone called my name and I followed her to the room. The young lady was so kind and patient with me. She made me feel at ease as she answered any question that I had. There was no pain to me which was awesome! Then, when she was finished I led to another room for the actual filling procedure. Dr. Johnson’s chair-manners were unmatched. He was thorough and also patient as well. All in all I had a great experience. I’ll make going to the dentist a priority from now on rather my usual passing thought. Thank you all!!!!
What a wonderful experience I had, when going to the dentist is not on my “most favorite things” list. 😂 I was extremely nervous, and the entire staff, but mostly Diane and Dr. Murphy, made me feel so calm and was so patient and kind-explaining everything before they started. I have found my forever dentist!! They are definitely a 5 star business
