Got my wisdom teeth removed from this doctor, worst surgery I’ve ever had. Isn’t it supposed to be easy?? While I was under he must have strained my jaw because I had lockjaw for a week after this surgery. I could not open my mouth at all. I lost 13lbs (originally was 120lbs) in 9 days. I couldn’t eat and was in so much pain. When I could finally pry my mouth open big enough to take a pain pill, I forgot you have to eat those with food…ended up with the worst stomach ache in my life. The recovery of this was a brutal experience. A nightmare. 0% recommend this doctor’s practice.
Dr Joe is such a genuine caring doctor. He takes the time to listen, doesn’t make you feel rushed and has great communication. Hands down, one of the best in the area. Always willing to research, review and investigate what best treatment options are.
A huge and sincere thank you to Dr. Deatherage and his staff at Face & Jaw Surgery Center, specifically Dr. Deatherage, Hope, Sunny and Carly, who truly went above and beyond. I have never witnessed a more kind and patient-focused medical staff. Having irrational fears of needles and dental procedures, I felt very anxious and overwhelmed. Thank you for making an unpleasant experience bearable.
Anyone looking for very smart doctor with an exceptional attitude and care for his patient... THIS IS YOUR DOCTOR. He and his staff are super friendly and have went out of their way to take excellent care of me while dealing with a difficult health problem. My hat is off, and much thanks to him and staff!!!!!! You guys are great.
Dr. Deathridge is first class, professionalism and personality. They don't get any better than him.
