I had a really great experience at Keith & Associates today! My hygienist was very professional and nice and took care of the cleaning really well. Then, the doctor came in and surprised me even more with her nice and professional attitude. She explained to me the treatment plan perfectly and welcomed any further questions. Thank God, I really loved my experience here and would definitely continue to choose this place for my dental care.
I would caution you to be aware that this practice tries to up sale. I went in for a cleaning today. This was my third visit to this office. The first time they took additional x-rays even though I had stated I only wanted x-rays covered by my insurance. These costs me an additional $350. When I questioned them, I was told that they had contacted and gotten approval by my insurance prior to the visit however my insurance showed the date contacted after the x-rays were done. This made me suspicious of the truthfulness of this office but I decided to go back again. My mistake. Today I went in for a cleaning where they tried to up sale me on a $287 treatment. When I declined, they told me I must have the $130 advanced cleaning. I told them I only wanted the regular cleaning and they said I had no choice. I pushed back and even spoke to the manager who said because of their diagnosis I couldn’t choose the regular cleaning. I understand they may offer it for best practice but you should be able to choose the free cleaning vs a paid cleaning. This seems unethical and a way to force the patients to spend more money. I will not be going back to this practice. This is in response to the reply to my first review: I have regular dental cleanings every 6 months and was never told I had any gum issue until I came this practice. I did receive the "advanced cleaning" at the previous visit with your office and followed all the recommended methods given to prevent further damage. However, at the second visit, when evidently no change was seen and I was told I had to pay for the advanced cleaning again. I was skeptical as it appears to be an upsale as I stated previously. Also, you state that the patient always has a choice which is untrue. It is not a choice when the patient is told " you must pay $130 to get your teeth cleaned or not get your teeth cleaned at all". This is clearly not a choice but an ultimatum which leads to the patient paying extra. I am not trying to be harsh but feel that others may want to know this information before visiting this practice.
I had an excellent experience. Also, have a detailed plan for fixing my current teeth issues. Am so happy for the service and the employees are top notch. This was the best dental appointment I have experienced. I will ensure my family and friends know where to go for the best Dental care in Kansas City!!!
From the moment the elevator doors open, the receptionist pleasantly greets you. My dental hygienist was wonderful, Haley explains what she is going to do and right away calms you down.She is through and painless! Her positive attitude is a breath of fresh air! The Dentist that came after was quick and said it all looked good, however She would recommend a mouth guard to protect my teeth from my grinding at night! Greatly Appreciated the whole staff, and would highly recommend Keith and Associates.😁
Wonderful appointment!!!! Made an appointment online for their emergency services and I’m glad I did. The office is beautiful, front desk staff was fast and efficient. My dental tech, Gwen, was awesome. She was very patient, very detailed, and all around a great tech!! She made me feel very comfortable. I hope I have her each time I visit. The Dentist, Dr. Custer, was awesome. Every step of the way he explained what he was doing and he gave me options as far as my treatment. He took his time and thoroughly explained things and I really appreciated that. When I chose the treatment the lady from the insurance department came to speak with me about how much I would be responsible for. And after I agreed to treatment, the Dentist went in and did exactly what we agreed on. I was treated so well I decided to use Keith + associates as my dental home and not only for emergencies. At the end of the visit Gwen explained my discharge orders and off I went. Iam very happy I found this dental office and I will be referring them to all my family and friends.
