I was sent to Dr. Griffin from my regular dentist because of the amount of work I needed. From the phone call to finishing my dental care, the office has been nothing but warm, welcoming, informative and supportive (even when I had a breakdown in the chair). Dr. Griffin has given me a new smile and I couldn't be more thankful!

My experience at Lake Bluff dental with Dr. Griffin, and her staff was top-notch! My situation was very emotional for me and Dr. Griffin was very excellent in helping me cope with my situation as well as showing compassion and understanding for my circumstances. I really appreciated all the care I received there from everyone -from the receptionist to the assistants to Dr. Griffin. I would highly recommend going here if needed. The outcome of my caps was beautiful! I am very pleased and satisfied 🩷! My gratitude towards everyone. Also the office atmosphere is very inviting and relaxing as far as a place to have dental care goes. Filled with beautiful plants and fresh cut flowers!

I have a considerable amount of anxiety when it comes to the dentist—so much so that I hadn’t been in many years. When I finally decided to go back, Dr. Griffin was actually the second dentist I saw. The first made me so uncomfortable that I couldn’t bring myself to return. When I went to Dr. Griffin’s office, I felt unjudged. I was still a pool of anxiety, but she met me with patience and calm. She asked me what I’d been doing with my summer, and I told her I was too anxious for small talk. She understood completely and did her best to help me feel safe and didn’t make me talk. At my second visit, she asked if there was anything I wanted done differently. I said I’d feel better if she explained what she was doing as she worked—and she did, going into real technical detail, which I actually found oddly comforting. At one point when I jerked a little, she stopped immediately and said I shouldn’t feel any pain. If I did, I should tell her and they’d fix it. That kind of reassurance helped me calm dow and trust her. My mouth was a mess—I had to lose a couple of teeth and get several cavities filled. Over the course of a year, I had many visits. In the beginning, I really needed the little tooth-shaped stress ball to get through each appointment. Later, during a cleaning with a hygienist I had never met before, she brought in the stress tooth and said she’d heard I liked it. That meant either Dr. Griffin told her or made a note in my chart. Either way, that is good customer service. Now, a year later—with implants for my missing teeth and no more pain—I’m smiling big. Thank you, Dr. Griffin, for helping to restore my smile.
