Both my daughter and I are seen at this office and always have great visits. Ms. Lexi is amazing and worked so well with my daughter and made her so comfortable during her visit today. All of the staff have been extremely kind every time we have been in, and we appreciate all of you!

10+ visits to this location over the course of 9 months for my first and only crown. This was due to multiple complications arising from their errors. (After the initial temp crown was seated, I experienced debilitating mouth, face, neck, and head pain that I had never felt before. Turned out that was nerve pain and I needed a surprise, urgent root canal. This cost an additional $250+ and necessitated travel to the endodontist in Wilmington). At Lane, the temp crowns and the permanent crowns were never seated correctly, or simply did not fit. The miscalculations of the permanent crowns was always blamed on the lab. Each temp also cracked, broke, or wore through due to improper size/shape/bite profile. Finally I just went without a temp since they were so problematic each time. I ended up going through three different dentists here due to staffing challenges. I missed a significant amount of work due to so many visits, while traveling 30 minutes each way. After each visit to take impressions, I had to wait ~4 weeks for each new crown to be made. It dragged on for almost a year. I was moving out of state in February 2024 and the issue was still not resolved. I believe I had my (third?) temp crown in place and had been waiting weeks for the lab to create another crown. Again. After discussing with Lane, (who had suggested that I postpone my move), timing necessitated that I would need to find a new dentist in my new state to finish the crown. However, I received a call from Lane one morning in February 2024: the lab had completed the most recent crown (again), and if I could come in like NOW, they could seat it. This was the day before I moved halfway across the country. I postponed packing the U-Haul and headed to Lane, where the crown was finally successfully seated. I understand that complications happen, but the refusal to waive the additional charges that resulted has deepened my frustration. After initially paying $500+ (after insurance) to them for the crown in May 2023, they billed me for even more money when the final crown was seated months later, even though each subsequent visit no fault of my own. After calling the office last year, I asked them to waive the the additional ~$200 they had charged me. The woman assured me she would get this waived and would run it up the chain, which would have been a satisfactory resolution. Unfortunately this did not happen and they sent my account to collections, where the balance continues to grow and as of this morning, I continue to be pursued by debt collectors. I am deeply disappointed with the Jacksonville, NC Lane Associates and Lane Associates as a whole. This situation has been painful, costly, and exceptionally frustrating on multiple levels.

The best!! Going to the dentist is always soo nerve racking on fear of judgement, or just the pain itself. The whole staff including Miss Lexi are all so kind, and make the whole process very relaxing and judgement free!!
