✨Going to the dentist gives me so much anxiety and today was no different. But Rachel, Dr. Whelan, and Tara made it an amazing experience. First of all, they were all nice. But most importantly to me, they actually let me know what was going on in a judgement free, non-mansplaining way that made me feel good about my decisions and how to move forward with a dental plan. Finally, they are super transparent about cost. This has been a barrier for me in the past and it was good to know whether or not I could afford the options they offered. Cannot recommend enough ✨
I haven’t always had the best experiences with dental care in the Capital Region, but that all changed today. I can’t recommend Dr. Luke Whelan and the staff at Lasting Impressions (Smilist Dental) in Loudonville enough! My front tooth broke last night, and when I called this morning, they got me in the same day. Dr. Whelan did a fantastic job fixing it — no runaround, no “you’re new, so we’ll have to schedule that for another day.” His professionalism, kindness, and excellent craftsmanship immediately put me at ease. My smile is back, and it was affordable too (even without insurance). For the first time in years, I’m actually looking forward to going back to finish fixing some long-standing issues and bringing the whole family to this practice. To top it all off, Dr. Whelan never once made me feel embarrassed or judged — something I’ve unfortunately experienced before. I left feeling confident and genuinely grateful.
I love my dentist she’s very informative and nice she told me step by step what she was doing and asked me often how I was doing as she was replacing my filling. I would recommend this practice to everyone they all are nice even the assistant was making sure I was comfortable, they are clean and fast as well. Don’t hesitate to book your dentist appointment at lasting impressions
This was my first experience at the dentist after not going since being in college. Probably at least 4 years. Tara was so kind. If you haven’t been to the dentist in a while, you’re in good hands here!
